Great Car!

I bought this car as a CPO about 2 years ago. Car is great. The only downside are the seats that are definitely too hard and lack of lumbar adjustment. Breaks could also be slightly stronger... Other than that, performance and quality are outstanding. Just like any other BMW, avoid using regular fuel (87) so you can really get what a BMW engine can offer (smoothness, strong and quick reactions without any Knocks and pings).

This car has met or exceeded my expectations in every category. It provides outstanding performance, excellence MPG (38 mpg on first trip of 55, 65 and 70 mph while in comfort mode), the navigation system is excellence, blue tooth setup and streaming is perfect, seats are very comfortable, and the styling continues to be one of the most beautiful on the road. If you are looking for a entry level sport sedan that does everything well while maintaining the right balance between performance and luxury, you can not go wrong with the 2015 BMW 3 series. This vehicle is a blast to drive, while at the same time providing all the technology and creature comforts any one could desire!

2015 BMW 320i is the Worst Car I have Ever owned!

I bought this 320i with about 46K miles on it. At about 55k is when all the Problems began. The Pulley on the Alternator self destructed. I replaced it myself took about 2 hours... then it started to Leak oil and smoke all the time. The oil cooler gaskets failed and were leaking on the Serpentine belt, which caused the Belt and Tensioner to fail too. I replaced the cooler Gaskets and Tensioner and belt myself, which took about 3 hours. Next, the Cooling hoses started failing one by one, along with the reservoir, and cap. I replaced them all. then the water pump failed. So I basically replaced the entire cooling system, with the exception of the radiator and Elec Fans. then the Oil Filter Cap started to Leak Oil all over. Then the Valve Cover Gasket started to leak. Now onto the Electrical system. The Battery was dead when i came out from work I thought maybe i didn't get the radio turned off. Next morning Dead again. I replaced the battery, which then proceeded to die on my way home on i95. I had to get it towed to the mechanic. they replaced the battery and claimed it was fixed. nope, 2 days later dead again. It was sent to a specialist who took 2 weeks to find the problem. Turns out, it was the IBS / intelligent battery sensor.. Now, the front hubs appear to be almost gone. I will fix that in a couple of weeks . One more thing... I am getting a P0171 code. System Lean, Bank One. I now have a little over 72k Miles on this car. I have spent Over $7000.00 in repairs this year alone. luckily i have been able to do some of them myself, otherwise it would have easily been $15000.00 in repairs I got a quote from BMW for one hose for $1200.00. I bought the Hose for $50.00 and replaced it myself. I took it into the dealer to test the timing chain as well, since they are Notorious for failure... there was a class action lawsuit concerning the Timing chain on the n20 Engine. No car should have this many failures at less than 70,000 Miles... absolutely ridiculous! I will never buy a BMW again, or any German car for that matter. I will warn as many people as I can about this Utter horrific so called quality car maker as I possibly can. I will buy Japanese from now on. this is my first and last BMW One other thing. I bought an upgraded AAA membership, which allows 5 towing instances per year. I used them all up this year. BMW, you should be ashamed !

2015 BMW 335i 6MT

I purchased this car new and had it for almost 4 years and 54,000 miles. I test drove several competitors at the time, including the Cadillac ATS, Lexus IS350, and even the ford mustang and chevrolet camaro since I wanted a manual transmission. It was apparent the first second I drove off the lot that the BMW was special. There's just some type of intangible driving feel that they have and the other cars don't. That, combined with the phenomenal interior and exterior quality, made my purchase easy. I wasn't originally planning on spending as much as I did on a car (was looking at the 328i first), but that inline six was intoxicating and I ended up factory ordering one the day I test drove. Over the life of the car, I had a blast. A few small suspension mods and ditching the run flat tires made the car so competent in the corners, and a tune made it just fast enough to be a lot of fun but not break every law in America in under 5 seconds. The balance of performance and comfort was fantastic. Unfortunately I needed a towing vehicle so I had to part ways, but I wouldn't hesitate to buy another F30 in the future if I have the chance. I didn't have any reliability issues to speak of and the interior still looked brand new at 54,000 miles with virtually no wear and tear.

Too bad

I'm sure it's been written many times before and I'm going to sound like an old fart, but it's sad what has become of this car. I owned a 2001 330 Xi for 14 years and it was the most fun car to drive. The minute you got in it and started to drive, it made you smile. Good in city and on snow, and punch it into a turn or a corner and the back end sits down and keeps the whole thing under control. I'm not a sports car aficionado, but that is how I imaging a sports car should be (and actually how my BMW motorcycle is). IMO, the "old 3" really was an ultimate driving machine. The newer versions have lost this, and yes I've driven a bunch of different models (328, X, 335, etc.). It's a real shame. I now drive an Audi A4, which I felt was better but still doesn't approach my old 3, and is about 2x the price. It's sad and somewhat hard to understand.
