Silver Bullet!
I just recently bought my 2001 (silver) 325Ci from the local BMW dealer and it turned out to be everything I hoped for and more. Lexus, Infinity, and Mercedes all make nice cars but they didn't come close to the performance and awe- inspring looks that this vehicle has. Sure, other vehicles have more horsepower and options but in my opinion, they didn't compare. You owe it to yourself to go on an extended test drive before you make your next luxury car purchase.
Best car I’ve ever owned
I bought this car off my Aunt in 2016 with 122k miles on it and it’s still running strong at 147k. I’ve had to do quite a lot maintenance but it’s not that expensive if you buy parts online and not at the nasty dealer. The handling is amazing, great chassis, and substantial power. Also please replace the AUX fan if you haven’t... mine broke and put a hole in my radiator.

Total Experience
I fall into the "always wanted one" category. I finally succumbed to my desire in Sept 04. I only wish I had bought one long before. I opted for the 330 because i wanted the additonal power and creature comforts standard on the 330. The minute I test drove the car I was grinning from ear to ear as the smooth acceleration pushed me into the seat. Stylish, fast with great brakes. Expensive to maintain. Don't buy this model if your not a serious driving enthusiast. Save yourself a few bucks and opt for the 325. But for those of you who love to drive and have the $$$... then this is the car for you.
bmw
fun and sexy. At 38000 miles, faultless. Easy to use manual top much more reliable than auto top.
2001 330ci
This car is still a hoot to drive and it still gets envious stares after more than six years. Seems quite quick, stops on a dime and corners with ease (I can't get the tires to squeal). Very hard to fault it in any way. I'm thinking about moving up to a Jag XK or BMW 650, for highway comfort, but I'll miss the agility and easy parking.
