2024 Audi Q4 e-tron SUV Consumer Reviews

Do not buy a Audi
Do not buy an Audi after reading all reviews. I made a mistake and bought an 2024 Q4 Etron without checking out the reviews. The car SOS light started blinking and the car not able to connect after a week. Took it in for service and they said that currently there is no solution for it and don’t when the faulty parts (they think) will arrive. It has been a month.
Disappointed and Stranded – Unsafe Car, Zero Suppo
I leased a 2024 Audi Q4 e-tron, excited about the design, performance, and promise of luxury EV ownership. What I didn’t expect was to be left with a vehicle that’s been under a serious safety recall (93FR, NHTSA 25V125) for months with no fix in sight—and no support from Audi whatsoever. The recall affects the onboard charger and can cause total loss of power while driving, putting drivers and passengers at serious risk. I was notified of the issue over three months ago. Since then: No repairs available No timeline provided No loaner or transportation offered No flexibility with my lease, despite the car being unsafe to drive—especially with a newborn Audi’s response? Repeated emails saying “thank you for your patience” while telling me to just wait indefinitely. This isn’t just poor service—it’s a complete failure of responsibility from a brand that markets itself as premium and safety-focused. If you’re considering an Audi—especially an EV—I strongly urge you to think twice. Great cars don’t matter if the company behind them abandons you when it really counts.

Missing so many futures. Disappointed!
I sold my Atlas full package and got myself a E-tron Q4. Well. Bad choice! The steering wheel doesn't warm up. The LOCKS do NOT open when you approach the car, this should be basic on a "luxury" car. It does not beep, so it is difficult to find. The smart drive and line assistant is not fully functional either. Bad bad choice! Ohhh. And the battery goes from 283 mines to 190 if you drive 50 miles in dynimic on a high Way.

Great Car....but!
Beautiful car in and out. Problems I had were with range an suspension. Range seemed to be less than what was advertised taking into account weather. App is defaulted to 80% charging so if you need 100% you have to change the setting in the app. Forget, you're screwed if you have a longer trip planned.

Mostly great - No Regrets
Overall, I really like the Q4. For context, I previously had a Tesla Model 3 and while I loved the speed and tech, it felt cheaply built and had a rough ride. In contrast, the Audi looks and feels much more premium and the ride is comfortable. It’s a vehicle I like and feel proud driving. Given it’s modest size, the interior is spacious and seating position is excellent. The tech is fine with good integration of wireless Apple Car Play and a nice 12 inch display. Fit and finish is high quality (though there are more hard plastic parts than past Audis I’ve owned). It’s also very quiet. A couple of drawbacks: I got a false warning the pedestrian sound was not working and the dealership could not duplicate that. It hasn’t come on recently though. Also, the regen breaking could be improved, especially compared to the one pedal driving I could do with my old Tesla. Handling was just average. And the “Premium” base model for the 55 lacks some features that should be standard, like memory seats, satellite radio, and a dedicated heat pump. Those omissions are unfortunate for an Audi at the price point (though I got a great deal on the lease).
