Tangerine
I bought this car just about 2yrs ago as a CPO Audi and I’ve put around 25,000mi on it. Really no complaints at all for this car. It’s been an amazing commuter car with over 30mpg average, a strong performer in the mountains of CO through the snow, fast enough for any daily needs (I could always go for more though), quiet/comfortable, maneuverable in the city, spacious enough for Costco and Home Depot runs, and no real issues with the car now approaching 40k miles. The only things I find negative in the car have more to do with anything in the class: 1.) You have to pick between hauling people and hauling cargo (ie picking people up from the airport who are heavy packers runs out of space quickly). 2.) Towing capacity is basically nonexistent. I pretty much compared this car with everything when I was looking to buy, all the standard competitors, larger SUVs, pickup trucks, and AWD sedans but nothing hit such a nice balance of style, luxury, pricing, performance and economy. Also the pulse orange paint with black trim gets more compliments and questions than any other car I’ve ever owned.

Screen placed too low!
I previously had a 2017 Q3. I traded it in for the newer model and was so disappointed by how low the screen is with the air vents placed above it. I almost went off the road and went out of my lane repeatedly while looking at the creen. I am going to trade in for a BMW because they put the screen up top with the air vents below the screen so that you can see the road at the same time you are looking at the screen. I have loved my Audis until this poor design feature so unfortunately will not buy another if it is not corrected.

Q3 Quality Issue Lots of CONS Would not recommend
I have purchased 1 toyota, 2 audis,3 subarus, 2 Mazdas, 2 Nissans, 4 Infinitis, 2 Jeeps and while I'm not a car snob and purchase for practicality reason during different phases of life, I didn't realize I had to test everything below for multiple days that the Audi q3 gave me trouble. Lots of Cons to name: 1. Jerky transmission under 20 mph. Dynamic drive mode seems to minimize the issue a bit but still apparent. 2. sunglass/glass compartment wont close, there are wires that are in the way of closure 3. Wipers stutters (feels like someone put them on backwards) lots of reviews about this issue 4. Memory seat button you have to hold down to move it... - why have a button instead of a press and release like Infiniti. 5. Back middle console can only hold soda cans size drinks, pretty dismal :( 6. When the car is parked idling... while key is still in the ignition, the car turns itself off. while off you can still move the gear and put in Reverse or Drive, but as soon as you realize the car isn't actually on, and let go of the gas, the car will move as if it was in neutral - manual re-start is a must! pretty dangerous when on a hill if you don't pay attention to the message on the dashboard. Probably the most dangerous of all things I have recently found on this vehicle. 7.The auto lock still allows passengers to open the door while the car is still in motion - dangerous , and allows passengers to unlock after the first attempt via the door handle still. 8. No Auto Dimming option override (prefers the manual way of dimming the mirrors pull up or down) This is always on, so its dark all the time 9. Roof Rack install was a failure, while driving down on the freeway at 70mph the middle plastic piece came flying off held at the end - not even sure why its not just one piece. dangerous, could get caught in the car wash. 10. LLumar Clear bra is a joke, on new vehicles, they don't stay on (i've had three now on two vehicles and bubbles all around) 11.Garage opener will only work if the car is on. unlike (home link on rear view mirror will allow opening of garage doors even with out the car being on) 12. No option to have a sound while arming your vehicle lock. I wouldn't know if it was locked from afar its nice to hear that its locked and carry on with your day, instead of having to physically get close or see your lights flicker to know its locked. 13. Liftgate doesn't have a sound /alert when closed would be nice to have this alert to know its closed all the way instead of standing to supervise (other brands have this feature) until closure. 14. Fogs up really easily, not sure why, its super annoying. I've had a brand new 2001 a4 before so I know the quality Audi can be. Still some old school features like the manual steering height adjustments and key fob still exist in the new one Audis, as well as the placement of the sunglass compartment. but the material used on the under dash as well as using partial canvas cover for the seat on the side is sad. PROS: BEST AWD Quattro system - Hugs the road with snow like a beast even when turn uphill incline 20% ish. but I'm not sure how to recommend the vehicle while the other items above is part of the driving experience. While I don't like that the vehicle has to be on to use the garage opener. I do like having more than 3 for those that have family garages/inlaws garages, business garages or gates to add to (not many will fall into this)

Nice small SUV let down by poor mileage
Had the car as a loaner while my A4 Quattro was in the shop. Drove it for 250 miles - city, highway and country. The car is very pleasant for SUV lovers, though it’s on the smaller side, so probably not the best choice for families. The inside looks very nice, real leather is a standard, the car drives well. The biggest let down for me was the gas mileage: 27 mpg combined, despite super conservative driving and lots of highway miles. Even on the highway it’s really hard to achieve 30 mpg. During a period of climate change and with a RAV4 Hybrid getting around 40 mpg with similar engine performance, that’s lousy. Other minor letdowns were the touch screen that’s difficult to safely operate while driving. The old interface pre touchscreen was much better. The engines also sounds a bit corse, but those are small gripes. Audi, you can do much better gas mileage wise!!
