My first car
Hello, I bought my 2018 audi a5 coupe prestige 8 months ago as my first car. I would like to start this review off with saying I love my car. Its more than anyone my age should have and is just an amazing car. Its acceleration does lag slightly when you first put your foot down thats to the duel clutch and you will roll back very far if your back out of your driveway and put it in drive. When backing out your car will freak out on you if a car is coming towards you from either direction from as far as 30ft. Its terrifying and you never see it coming. The backseat room is non existent and for me to sit comfortably in the driver's seat (im 6'1) the drivers seat is about an inch away from the back seat. I will say for the size of the car and it being a coupe, the trunk space is pretty nice as long as nothing your putting in the trunk is tall. I had a 6inch screw go into my back tire and for 20.inutes my car didn't tell me I lost any pressure or that anything was wrong. I only noticed it was there because I stopped for gas. I feel thats something the car should've told me especially when I was actively losing air. A small note about my personal vehicle, the ac whistles very loudly and its been the cause of multiple "oh my god, my engine is going to explode" obviously a dramatic false statement. But for a car with only 60k miles, idk why the ac is already acting up. Anyways, I would say its an amazing car for someone who wants something less practical that a a4 but looks 10x better.

Needs a facelift and a reality check on price
The A5 with 2.0 L 6 sp manual transmission paired with Audi quattro is a driver's dream powertrain. It doesn't waste gas like a V6 but has all the go power you need whenever you need it. However, the exterior is no match for all this driving excitement. It's hard to tell an A5 from similar Honda, Hyundai, Toyota, etc. models when they drive by. In theory the MSRP for the car with sport suspension starts around $48K but you can't get one without all the bells and whistles raising the price to around $54K. At that price it really needs to a car you look at and just want to jump in! There are too many competitors at a more reasonable price for this car to be worth buying. News flash: Audi has stopped building manual transmissions for 2019.

Best than all the rest!!!
Unlike my BMWs, my Mercedes, my Infinity, this is the best car I have ever owned. If it were all electric I wouldn't even think of trading or selling.
