The TSX is an extraordinary value with great quality and style. It is very well equipped, including VSA and a full array of air bags. The parchment interior is well designed and very attractive. The auto transmission is smooth and responsive. Fit and finish are excellent. Two concerns: (1) the ride is good on highways and smooth streets, but rougher than desired on bumpy streets, and (2) the passenger seat which has no vertical adjustment and is too low for my wife's comfort and ease of access. (I bought a matching pillow for that seat for added height and comfort.) After 4000 miles, gas mileage is excellent, averaging 27 in mixed driving, 33 on the highway, and still improving.

Although I normally would balk at paying $27,000 for a four cylinder, this isn't so here. It's so smooth, actually more so than my old 1996 Acura 3.2 TL's 3.2-liter V-6. The interior is very clean. Many dismiss the exterior as boring, but I find it quite attractive. And it's just dripping with features.

I've had this car since Jan. 2004 and so far everything went fine until recently the tail lights were not working properly. It was due to the Harness Recall. The front right headlight seal broke or was not properly packed when assembled at the factory since water was filtering to the headlight. The front right axle boot had a cut so it had to be replaced. The TSX is not as fuel efficient as estimated. It will go only 330 miles with a full tank. The sound system needs some work. The car needs more power. After all if you are looking for an entry level luxury car this is is for you. Since the chances are you will not find anything like a TSX for less.

My husband and I wanted a sophisticated, reliable, and yet fun to drive car, and that is why we chose the TSX. We spent months researching and comparing different vehicles, such as Audi A4, BMW 3 series, and other Honda products. This car came up the winner for so may different reasons. First of all, the safety features are supurb. The comfort is incredible and the list of standard features are seemingly endless. This car feels like luxury inside and out. The price just can not be beat when compared to others in it's class. This car looks sporty and refined all in one. Honda did a great job with this vehicle.

I bought this car for my wife and quickly realized I wanted to steal it from her. It is a great car to drive and has enough room for a family. The car is very affordable and out performs any other car in this price range.

This car is not only safe but it is fun to drive. I love the little kick it has when you accelerate. It is the most fun 4 cyl car I have ever driven. The gas mileage isn't bad either, but it depends in all what you are looking for in mileage. All in all great car!

Picked up the 2005 TSX 3 days ago and I am impressed! XM satellite radio, heated mirrors and power passenger seats are nice additions. 200 hp engine acceleration is more than acceptable. Sound system is terrific and leather seats are very comfortable. After researching Honda Accord, Subaru WRX, Toyota Camry and BMW 3 series, I am certain that I made the correct selection. This car is combines sportiness, luxury and and enjoyment of driving in a nice package.

I did a lot of research and decided on the Acura TSX. I drove a Mercury Cougar for 6 years and going from a two door 6 cylinder to a 4 door 4 cylinder made me apprehensive but that feeling was long gone after the first test drive. It rides much smoother, handles extremely well and I am very happy with the purchase.

I had driven the TSX when my 97 Acura was in for service and I fell in love with it. It is appropriate for family, children and the trunk is extra large. You can fold the back seat down and transport large items. It is very sporty for a sedan.

I have never bought a foreign car before. I am 51 years old, and purchased this vehicle for my son, who forced me into the acura showroom. I was very resistent. I have purchased fords for 25 years , and must have had about 20 various vehicles. I must admit after driving this acura I am convinced that acura built cars are by far a better value than ford by far. I cant wait to trade my explorers, and marquis for the mdx and rl. signed; A true believer

I am tired of reading all these reviews about how the tsx should have more horsepower and more features. Everyone always wants more. For the price, you can't find a better car in its class with as much standard features. If you want more horsepower, buy a TL. Stop complaining and enjoy your new tsx. This car is very lavish, and fun to drive. It gets pretty good gas mileage, and the standard sound system and XM are great. Overall very satisfied with the tsx. Would buy another one.

The TSX is a great value for the critical buyer. The sharp styling and extremely nice lines make this car stand out in any crowd. The features that are all standard put other luxury cars to shame. Heated seats, heated mirrors, dual temp controls, xm sat radio, six disc in dash... the list seems endless. The performance is an added surprise for those of us that like a little kick out of driving. Handles like many past sports cars I've owned. 100% satisfied.

This acura is the best car that i have ever puchased. it rides very nice and handles well too. The engine has plenty of power. The stock tires are a little sluggish though.

So fun to drive. The all-around quality of this car especially for its price is above all others! Do not waste your time test driving other cars. You will love the TSX. The heated leather seats and new satellite radio are awesome. I love the heated side mirrors, especially in the San Francisco morning fog. Well-balanced everything.

After several years of driving VW Jettas, I wanted a more sophistocated yet sporty vehical. Once I saw the TSX, I loved it - Once I drove the TSX I knew that I had to own it! Sorry VW, but the TSX give a whole new meaning to "FUN TO DRIVE". I bought my new TSX in July and have put nearly 11k enjoyable miles on it! I don't regret buying my car when I did, however, they have added heated side mirrors as well as power passenger seats. I still would buy mine again when I did - I love it!

Bought the car in December and have about 2200 miles on it. This car is the sports car my Eclipse never was. Great handling, smooth ride and great acceleration. You'd think you had a V6 under the hood. The quality is typical Honda/Acura--everything works perfectly. I really like the design of the interior--beautifully thought out, clean, functional, comfortable. I also bought the spoiler and aero kit for a more agressive look. The car looks fantastic in black.

Not much to say other than this is an awesome car. From the perforated leather heated seats to the power moonroof, you can't find much more luxury for what you're paying. The car's handling is amazing. You definitely will not be disappointed with this car.

The TSX is my fifth car - and it may very well be my last! No need for anything else... okay, maybe a new TSX in 6 or 8 or 10 years. A world apart from the Accords I'd previously owned - and not much more expensive when you consider all the TSX features that are standard. As close to perfect as a motorcar can be - hardest decision was the color! I've recommended this car to friends and neighbors without hestitation and will continue to do so!

I love my TSX it rides great has a lot of power, looks sharp, nice and roomy and a big trunk , love the dash board lighting up white very classy, the radio sounds crisp and clear, handles nice and tight changing lanes, perfect size car, seats are soft and roomy best car I ever had , what a quiet ride

Fun to drive and plenty of second looks when you're out for a spin. Excellent fuel mileage and gets every bit of the mileage on the sticker. 200 horsepower in a four, wow does it ever handle like a very good sports car. Worth every bit of the sticker price. WHAT A CAR!

I have had this vehicle for a total of four months and all I can say it that this is the most amazing vehicle I have ever owned. The sound system is by far the best out of all the vehicles that I have test driven. The Honda Accord and Civic cannot even compare to this system. I am not sure of the wattage but it sounds incredible. Bose, Harman Kardon... none of them can compare to this system that is in the TSX.

The TSX is an excellent, well-rounded, highly reliable, fun-to-drive sedan. I'm seriously thinking about buying a second one for the wife. I thought about Audi (for AWD) & BMW (pure performance), but it's hard to justify the $10-15K premium, given how good this car is. Very satisfied thus far.

Very comfortable in the front. There's not an abundance of space, but it's very well used. My passengers are comfortable in the back all day. It also accelerates quietly and smoothly with plenty of power. You hardly notice the shift points. Good gas mileage, I average 29 MPG in Dallas driving conservatively & 24.5 MPG driving aggressively. There's not any squeaks or rattles. The turning radius, as mentioned in other reviews, is pretty sorry for a vehicle of this size. However, the car handles exceptionally well: very nimble and sure footed. Very well appointed vehicle even in base form. Good luck finding a finer vehicle for under 26k! Practical & Fun, what's not to love?

This car is great. I have had it for 5 months and I have had no problems with it. It is a fun car to drive and it does have some pickup to it. I do not regret my purchase at all!

About: 2005 TSX 5-speed auto, 2.4. Mine bought in 2008 with about 47K miles. Now Nov.2019 it has 120K miles( working from home 2 years helped retain mileage). This is now a 14 YEARS model / 11 YEARS on my hands!! (My past car Honda Civic '94 to 180K miles before the change to TSX) Ok, ,so a lot of experience with this great machine. The TSX is 100% manufactured in Sayama, Japan, belonging to the D-segment. This model avoided me a lot of problems in maintenance! Basically oil/filter changes each 5K miles!!(Full Synth used) and "normal" parts wear. In 11 years only few issues. The Rack and Pinion was remanufactured, so the original is in there. No problem. Fixed. Tires, of course. Normal battery change each 3 years aprox. Starter lasted 10 YEARS before replacement. Air Conditioning stop working after 10 YEARS. Fixed with less that $200 and working again. 0 problems with the engine/transmission. Only now the engine is leaking a few drop daily, probably main gasket, but really after 14 YEARS! Not bad in my opinion. About interior, all fine except the classic back door locks that stopped working(actually looking for actuators on Ebay etc. and problem solved.). The auto-cruise control and the internal light of the transmission shifter is no longer working since about 2 years ago. Maybe a future visit to the electro-mechanic could solve this. I've always thought that the TSX easy behaves almost like a V6. That inline 4 cylinders 200HP K24A engine had an acceleration like the first day! Still very responsive, smooth and agile. Definitely my best decision. Also, like other comments, it continues to look good, elegant, sporty, and almost on par with current cars in 2019. You can buy Honda/Acura if you really want quality!!~~

This car was from someone's mother I know that died. Bought it for 5500$ (i'm in Canada) with a little over 60k miles on it 32 months ago. Now at 95k miles and still a great car to drive even though it is nearly 17 years old. I was tired of buying myself new cars every 4-5 years and can say it'a the best investment ever. Told myself if its good for 2 years would be happy, and 4 years would be happier. Im nearly certain i'll go past that. Driving is great, air conditioner and heating is seriously great. Radio sound is perfect (even though I don't have bluetooth a little 12v fm transmitter with BT works fine) overall to me this car is 5 star. Repairs are pretty cheap too.

The TSX handles well and has a great 4 engine which does best at high RPMs. This makes it fun to drive particularly in the manual shift mode. The interior is well laid out with everything you would want standard.

The TSX happens to be the ultimate combination of pleasure, fun, sporty, reliable and low cost driving machine. This car drives great, feels great, runs great and does everything splendid it is designed to do. Don't have any complaints about my TSX and definitely recommend this one!!!

I simply love this car!! I've had it 11 years. Love driving it, love the pick up on the highway, the smoothness and ease of acceleration. Driven it on trips many times and it's a very comfortable ride. The first time I test drove it, I knew it was for me!
