Acura TLX Type S and it’s worth it
I researched the trio of the Audi S4, BMW M340, and Acura TLX Type S narrowing it down to the TLX because of a few factors: (1) Design and color choice; (2) Acura reliability; (3) Value with included features; and (4) Performance. We all know the TLX is heavier and not as fast as the S4 or M340 however the package of features and quality build of the car ultimately were the determining factors. I use the car for daily driving and it has enough HP to get around fast. The SH-AWD is fantastic in both dry and wet conditions. My two complaints about the car is the fact that I’ve had to get my puddle lights replaced twice because moisture gets in the side view mirrors, and I wish the car came with HUD. Overall, I do recommend this car because it is fun to drive, interior materials are high quality, and the design is amazing.

Buyer Beware
Ordered this vehicle TLX Type S from the dealership. Fit and finish are terrible. The car arrived with water sitting in the headlight. The headlight and tail light were out. The panel above the lights and in front of the hood was misaligned and had a broken mounting clip. The hood has a slight hump on the passenger side so the hood sits higher then the quarter panel along the reveal where the to panels meet. The bolts on the front quarter panels were starting to rust due to damaged paint and looked like they were adjusted after factory paint. The car hesitates when talking off. The car now has an Emissions System Problem error code and waiting to get into the dealer to find our what is wrong. Dealer still can't find what's throwing this code. Now, intermittently the infotainment system blacks out and says lost connectivity and completely reboots. The dealership said this won't leave a code so they would have to see it in person and it would have to happen on their watch. We have videos when it does this and they won't accept that, and neither will acura customer care. This is a known problem with previous years/models TSBs and they still won't address this.

Luxurious
Coming from a honda I naturally looked to acura for my next vehicle. The TLX carries a brand name of reliability and runs a similar infotainment, driver technology I expect from honda. I'm happy to be drive a car as exciting as the TLX type S
