Used 2016 Acura MDX Consumer Reviews
Air bags DID NOT work
My son was just in his first accident in our Acura MDX. He was likely going 35mph and none of the driver side airbags deployed. The passenger door airbag went off and the entire front end was destroyed and pushed back. He was hit head on in the accident and is ok. But I am VERY disappointed that a car of this calibre didn't release airbags. The other drivers 2020 Jeep had all airbags deploy. And when I checked for any recalls on the 2016 Acura there are none. NOT SAFE ENOUGH!! Even if they can fix it which I doubt I will not be buying another. They must work when needed. And there's no second chances.

Classy Ride
It is one easy car to get along with and most comfortable to drive or ride in. The stereo is easy I uas XM Radio but the navigation that is a little harder to figure out even with the book. But it is the ride it has three different style rides it has normal where it starts at when you first start but then it has comfortable and sport wow what a ride I love the tec package.

I love Acura
I love Acura as a brand so when I saw the modest reviews on my new/used car I figured something must not be quite right. Well, maybe some of you favor a less drastic shifting experience and a little less clunk from your transmission lol, but as a primary Acura driver, these are things I’ve learned to cope with. Quality of interior, suspension and engine are top of the line. Yes the 9 speed creates even more woes from the Acura transmission but the 6 speed was no less jerky in my opinion, it’s something that either you or the transmission software will adjust to over time with more use. Acceleration complaints from this car are questionable as I’ve learned in sport mode this thing takes off like a beast but in comfort mode the shifts are very sluggish so expect that when darting in and out of traffic like a mad person. If that’s how you drive I suggest sport mode as your primary driver setting. Other than that, typical Acura, fine leather interior, snappy infotainment with more buttons than necessary, seemingly reliable and comfortable. Try your luck, you just might fall in love.

Loving the 2016 mdx
I have had the mdx for 5 years and it has grown on me. I love the feel of the steering wheel, so soft to the touch. I have gotten use to the mdx now and I must say it has gotten better with time. No significant problems after 5 years of ownership...I hope it can last for another 5 years.
