1994 tegg rs sedan
This is the first car I've owned had it for just about a year brought it for 2800$ from original owner with 200000 km on the clock. I've not a single problem with it, all parts are cheep and easy to find, if you want to do engine work Honda B series are incredibly easy to upgrade. Got enough power to push you back in your seat and still I get over 30 mpgs on low grade fuel. Paint matching is a little hard to do when rust comes in on the wheel wells all tegs have a metallic paint. I've got just over 270k on it now so easy and comfy to drive. I'll drive it till I have enough money to buy another.
This is a great car!
I bought this car from my aunt and I love it! It handles well, it's sporty, and it's extremely reliable. It has 170000 miles on it, and the only thing that's been replaced on it is the timing belt. Not Bad!

SOLID!!!
I could not help but give this car all 10's because I am extremely pleased. I purchased this car because my previous vehicle blew up in my face. Being a mechanic reg. maint. is my pet peeve. I simply can't explain why the head cracked, maybe the cold? Long story short I came across my Teggy for about 2k. It turned over 133,000 miles last night, 1/07, while driving home from work and even though I technically am still young(I'm 29)I feel young again. I am so confident I didnt even think twice about driving this car cross country next month. Have all the maintenance records from previous owner and am looking forward to having this car for as long as Honda/Acura is known for; 3-400,000+ miles.
1 fast 4
I bought the car with 70K miles on it and I've put 15K on it since. I drag race my car all the time and it's still holding up to all my abuse. I love it when I take out those V6 and a few v8s. I love the look on those drivers face when I tell them it's only a 4cyl car. I love taken it past 6K rpm.
This car is amazing.
This is simply the BEST car I have ever owned. With 4 studded snow tires and a few sand bags in the trunk over the axle, it is great in the snow. Fun to drive, reliable, and cavernous with the back seat down. Acura service is also terrific. I have 150,000 miles and have had almost no repairs.
My Mechanic told me to buy a Honda.
My Mechanic told me to "Just go buy a Honda", when I told him that I wanted to Dump more money into my Ford again. I didn't like the exterior design of the Integra originally, but I decided to buy this car, after weeks of just reading reviews on all the cars that I was interested in. This one had the best reviews. Cheap & Reliable. This is by far the best decision I could've made. This vehicle is definitely SOLID. It's @ 217,000 miles and feels like I bought a newer car! So if you find one in decent shape & a decent price, get it. I got this car for $700 bucks, privately owned. Finally! After 2 Fords, 2 Dodges, a Jeep, a VW an Olds and a Chevy, in less than 15 years. Finally, Reliability!
THE best thing I ever did was buy this!
My Integra has given me 11 years of reliable transportation. It has 207,000 mi now and still feels as peppy as it did when I bought it.I use 87 octane and have for probably 7 years now.I keep the oil changed regularly and regular maintenance done every two years or so.I love everything about it, the power windows, sunroof, cruise control, zippy 5 spd tranny, ease of parking, a huge trunk and it's just so much fun to drive. We now have a 1 yr old and she loves riding in it too.I will never sell this car, I will drive it until it dies and then I will buy a TSX.BTW I am 34 yrs old and this is only the second car I've owned, my first was an '81 Civic. I will always be a Honda/Acura girl.
Why don't more people buy this car?
This car has been so reliable and so much fun to drive. The one car I have owned that has never left me stranded and still has as much power as the day I bought it. At 116,000 miles I have had to replace some leaky and noisy components but the engine still runs smooth and the ride even smoother. Initially I bought it for reliability and drive but the look of the car has also grown on me. I will miss it when I sell it many miles from now.
Great Little Car
I bought this from a friend - the second owner of the car. He replaced the timing belt and has had no other repairs with it. It has over 93,000 miles and is running great. Even the A/C works great. Even though I owned the care for a short time, I did some reviews and found the Acura Integra a really reliable car. So far I have found this to be true.
I love this car
I bought my GS-R used about 6 years ago and have loved driving it every minute. It is fun, fast and still can comfortably seat 4 people when it needs to. I cannot think of any car I would rather have than this one.
dependable integra
we have owned this integra since '95 and it has never let us down. it is a truly practical and dependable 4-door. the interior has adequate space for my family with two kids in the back. it has had no unexpeccted repair issues. just keep the oil changed every 3k and it will keep running.
awesome ride
cute, comfy, lots of power and totally reliable!
Tremendous Car Except for Two Things
From climbing steep mountains to go skiing to formal dinners where I valeted next to Rolls Royces to picking top execs up from the airport this car is a champ. The only two problem with this car is I have replaced the radiator twice. The automatic transmission has also slipped since the day I bought it. It is pain to hear the engine rev when you step on the gas going around the corner. The only other thing that is worth a casual mention is the poor visibility when parallel parking.
Still crazy after all these years
I bought my '94 4-door GSR in 96 after extensive research. I figured it would be reliable and looked pretty good. What a surprise! Even after 6 years and 60K miles, I cannot believe what a wonderful experience I have driving this car. It's quicker than you can imagine, and corners like a dream. I have had no major repairs, and look forward to driving it for a long time. Whee!
love this car
if you don't want to spend a lot of money on a car but yet want a reliable fun to drive car - this is it. costs a little more than the civic but performs way better. I have a little girl and the 4dr version is a great car for a young family (although the trunk is not huge).
1994 Integra GS-R 4DR
Purchased in May 1998...extremely reliable and fun-to-drive...more than enough speed for the freeway and around town...has a lot of practical functionality like folding rear seats...pulls .87 on the skidpad...change oil every 6K with Mobil 1...compression remains as strong as the day it was bought...very responsive to driver inputs...has the handling characteristics of more expensive cars, but is very affordable and fun to drive...consider this car "point-and-shoot performance with a practical twist"...best value for a front-driver under 25K!
What a car!
My Integra is the best car I have ever owned. I bought it 5 years ago and I have had no unscheduled repairs. I now have 103000 miles and it runs like the day I bought it. I plan on passing it on to my 16 year old daughter so she can enjoy it for many years to come.
Great car
This is a great worry free car made buy Acura. from good handling to a smooth ride this car is in the top 10. the only negative SMALL back seat.
Best 4 dr sport car
Bought this car 2 years ago and it is the most fun 4dr car around. I have a 5 speed and it has never given me any problems. I would highly recommend it.
great car
Excellent car. I've owned my gsr for about a year and a quarter and I love it it's nearly perfect. The only thing ive replaced was the brake booster solenoid, and the front brakes
Nice fun car
Second owner. I bought it at 56k. It has 93k now and drives and rides great. The GSR has all the options. Very reliable bumper to bumper. Everything has held up great (except for the power antenna). Regular maint. keeps car preforming at the top.
I love this car!!
There have only been a few complaints anout this car. I've had to replace the A-pipe, which apparantly is common. The radiator sprung a leak at about 100,000 miles. Other than that, I have 216,000 miles and it's still going strong. The paint is starting to deteriorate off the top and back, but that's from years in the hot Central Valley sun. I love my car!!
love my car
Bought it wrecked and fixed it up. It now has 160,000 miles on it and it still drives like a new car. I love it.
Best in Overall Quality
One word Performance. Vtech is awesome, great performance with even better mpg I average 32MPG a tank. I am the second owner and I bought it with 123,000 on it. I have had no mechanical problems even at 128,000. I highly recommend it for anyone except for families of 4 or more its maybe a little tight in the back seat. The car is awesome on the highway although the road noise is sometimes a little more than to be desired. I believe this is the best car I have owned. I look foward to buying a newer 2001 version of this car or a 2005 RSX Type -S, but I wont have to do this this for awhile while these cars last for ever and so do their resale values. Don't miss out on this Acura!
Fast and Furious Grocery Getter
Quick, roomy, very dependable, 200,000 miles later and it still hasn't lost its power.
WHAT A CAR!
I love my Acura. It never failed me when it came to any problems. Ive had it since 96 and it was worth every penny. The best car I ever had.
Get it with a stick shift for fun times
I bought this car a year ago mainly cause I wanted to learn how to drive a stick shift car. I'm the 3rd owner, it has over 120k miles on it and it is by far the most fun to drive car I've ever had. This is a great car to learn how to handle a stick and clutch. One thing I'd like to share with everyone is that when I first got it the gas mileage was lousy. So just for kicks I added some fuel injector cleaner to the gas tank and changed the air filter. That turned out to be just what the doctor ordered cause I noticed a huge increase in power and mileage went up nearly 50%. So if you sense a loss of performance in your vehicle now you know what to do first. Pass it on.
1994 Integra
Very reliable. Mine had almost 265,000 miles on it with the original clutch.
Great Second Car
Acura reliability, style and fun to drive. This car is 13 years old and I haven't had to do any major repair work to the engine and transmission. Love the gas mileage and the sporty driving experience. Only thing to watch for is the body around the back wheel wells. If there's too much salt, it will rust. Otherwise, outside of having to replace usual wear and tear items, it has been a great car. Very reliable.
4 dr gsr '94
one of the best cars I've owned, excellent design , great performance, top build quality, true sports car handling!
Best Buy!
Best car investment ever! Bought it used in 1996 with 27,000 miles on it and it is about to turn 200,000 miles. As long as you do the regular maintenance, this car will continue to run without having to put much into it. In almost 200,000 miles, there have not been any major repair other than regular maintenance. Has not even needed an alignment! Not once has it left me stranded on the road. Extremely reliable. Would definitely buy another one, but it may be a while, this one is still going...
Acura Integra, sports car or sedan?
I've had this car for a few days now, and I have to say that I absoloutley love it. There's a great feel to it, even though it's almost ten years old. It almost feels like an old porsche, kind of throaty. One thing I wish I could have is the keyless entry, but I think it is actually installed on my car it's just been disabled (???) So anyway, I have to say I truley love this car.
