2017 Nissan Titan Platinum Reserve 4dr Crew Cab 4WD (5.6L 8cyl 7A)
I normally dont do reviews, but thought this was worth writing. I own 3 pickups and am not brand dedicated because there are so many nice trucks. I own 3 different trucks. I am drawn to looks first then power and interior. I have notice reading reviews that most want to beat the trucks up, there are no perfect trucks. The Nissan drew me in because it was different and I dont recall any … recalls. I owned a Xterra and it was bulletproof and am hoping for the same on my Titan. After looking at all brands and I liked them all, I really like the warranty on my Titan and I got more equipment for the money than the competitors. My first and second tank of fuel at 70 mpg I got 17.5, I was very pleased and when it get broke in I hope for 20. I find it to be very quiet and so were all the others on top of the line. I guess I could beat the truck up with small complaints but sure makes spending my money on it hard to swallow. If the truck last me for 10 years I will be very pleased. I know the ride will get much better as it has in all my cars and trucks in time. I hope you enjoy your new purchase as much as I am enjoying mine.
18 month review and its still a great truck. I just got back from a 3K miles run with a trailer. The trailer was about 4K lbs and mileage was about 10 mpg at 70. This truck is so quiet and ride is great. It was a great purchase and if it is as reliable as my Xterra this will be another wonderful truck.
2 1/2 years now and still a great truck, I have 20k miles on it and everything is good. I get a lot of compliments on how quiet it is and the ride. I really like all the new trucks out there, but I think I made a great decision. I have added a 6" lift, camper and 35" tires, now I get compliments on the whole truck. These changes didn't change the ride of cabin noise. The mileage is about 17 on the hwy unless i have a strong headwind. The V8 runs great and would hate to have a V6.
Well my 3 year review is still about the same, the truck runs great and still as quiet as the day I bought it. I tow a camper now and then, my mileage is about 9 mpg on calm day and 6 mpg with 20 mph head wind. I have found most trucks are about the same no matter what they tell you.
The truck is still about 10k cheaper for the same equipment.
Well, I'm into about my 4th year and the truck has been bulletproof. Still love everything about it. Mileage is still about 17 on the hwy at 65 to 70. Not much to complain about.
Time for a 4 year update 12/21. I still find it hard to complain about my truck, its still been trouble free. I have drove some new trucks and they have more electronics, but as for ride and quietness mine is right there with them.I'm still getting compliments on the truck. I still get 17 to 18 on the road and 12 in town. I use my truck for camping pulling a 5k camper and I pull it way offroad. The pro-4x rear end would have been great but probably keeps me out of trouble. I do have a 6" lift, off road tires, ARE camper and 45 gal tank in bed. I would purchase another Titan again.
Well it's been 5 years since I purchase my Titan and don't have a lot to say but it's still running great. I still get about 17 mpg and its as quiet as it was new. I've looked at new trucks , but they seem to be problematic (other brands).
Well on a 5 and 1/2 year review still love the truck with no problems. I still average about 17 mpg on a calm day, and pulling a 5k lbs trailer 10 mpg. I have looked at new trucks but spending 65k to 85k for the same truck seems ridiculous. The truck is quiet and smooth on the road as it was brand new.
I've had the truck 6 years and going strong. No problems with it and still average about 17 mpg on a calm day. With price of trucks these days I'm glad I bought a good one.
