Sarah, That was a year ago. I will find it and send it to you! Its nice to see people like you working for GM, but for me it is too late! I will never buy another GM product again. Which is sad, because all of our company vehicles were GMC and all of my personal cars were GM products. Tell your superiors to get a grip on what really matters; ... Read More

Wow! I just “stumbled” onto this Edmunds forum while researching the rear load leveling suspension problems I started having a few months ago. This sounds like one of MANY chronic problems associated with GMC Envoys over several years and models (i.e., 2004, 2005, 2006, XL, XUV, Denali, etc.). I have a 2005 Envoy XUV SLT that I bought new in July 2005. It now has approximately 79,000 miles. I’ve done all ... Read More

I am the first owner of a 2005 Envoy XL SLT with 86,000 miles. I have had a couple major problems with my truck. First problem the truck was burning oil. Thank goodness this problem occurred while the truck was still under warranty. Now that the car has reached 7 years old and is out of warranty I have encountered new problems. First the RPM gauge stopped working temporarily. The head ... Read More

I got a letter stating they will only pay 50% as well. My car is a 2005 GMC Envoy with around 80,000 miles. I think I will just trade this thing in. I am not paying $900 to fix a car that is 6 years old with a problem that GMC recognizes throughout the line. They know there is a problem and they should pay to fix it. Lesson learned, do ... I have a 2005 GMC Envoy that I bought with 46K miles on it. 5 weeks after I bought it the gas guage went out, and I've been using the odometer as a gas guage ever since. The Envoy now has 108K miles on it. I've yet to get any response from GM customer service. I also just spent a ton getting the passenger side window switch diagnosed and repaired.

I have a 2005 GMC Envoy and have the exact opposite opinion of my vehicle than the previous person. I have had nothing but problems with this vehicle. I bought it in January 2011 with 62000 miles on it and it could be the worst vehicle I have ever bought. The entire instrument cluster doesn't work, and the gas gauge is also not functioning properly. Is there anything on this vehicle ... Read More
