It's a HOME RUN....and 600 MILES range to a tank!

2020 Ford Escape
After much research on compact SUVs and the usual bias towards Toyota and Honda, and after test drives, decided to take a chance on the 2020 Escape - hybrid Titanium package. Am I glad I did! THIS PRODUCT IS A HOME RUN from Ford in its category. After close to a month of ownership, I am simply blown away at every aspect - from quality of build, to handling, to interior space, to … performance, and to even aesthetics when compared to the RAV4 and CRV. Being a new owner, I can't speak to reliability or durability but there is no reason to believe they will be materially different from Toyota or Honda, given the global nature of present day automobile platforms. Escape has a distinctly Euro look and feel to it inside including a sleek instrument panel - more like a information display panel since it is all one big screen it appears. Navigation and camera images are crisp and HD with convenient touch controls. Ford autopilot is as good as any (better than the Audi Q7's that I have).
Get this - I got a whopping 600 MILES IN ONE TANK OF GAS (the one I drove out of the dealer lot with)! Averaging around 42 MPG.
Yes, some of the inside plastic could feel more 'high end' but plastic is plastic no matter how it looks or feels. And that seems to be the order of the day in all autos these days.
If any con - the rear seat could be an inch deeper (thigh length). Other than that this is a product you don't need to hesitate to buy! GOOD JOB Ford, ensure reliability and durability and you are #1.
