2020 Ford Escape
We could not be more pleased with the new Escape! A few weeks after purchase we drove almost 2000 miles on vacation and the vehicle did wonderfully. Our highway mileage was 39 even through the mountains. We averaged 44-46 around town. Ford’s active driving aids are easy to use, work flawlessly, and make driving long distances relaxing. As an owner of a BMW, a Lincoln, a Honda, and … a Tesla, I can say from experience that the Ford/Lincoln adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist systems are some of the best.
The car is also very comfortable. No fatigue or back issues after driving. The interior is not luxury car standards in quality, but clean, comfortable, and well laid out. I am impressed with the interior noise level and the fact that a car the only cost $38,000 has laminated windows and other sound deadening aids. Ford’s Sync system also works well for navigation, traffic, music, and phone calls. The voice recognition is excellent.
