Have a Dodge Stratus 2006. Bought it used. Have had it for 6 months. Just recently just started having this problem. Dummy me was trying to start it with a copy key which did not have the transmitter. It would start and shut right off after 3 to 5 seconds!!! It was very frustrating. I have a 2005 Dodge Stratus. Not sure if you knew this but there is another way of checking codes. Turn ignition on and off 2 times then to the on position. (Put key in ignition, turn to on position without bumping the engine then off, then on then off then on (quickly). Look at your odometer and it will read off codes from the computer then it will say "done" ... Read More

TPS OR MAP sensor? you tell me whats wrong. Acting like its not getting gas. was the first problem. would turn over but not start. No fuel filter in line, just in the tank w/fuel pump. Replaced fuel pump. 3rd Stratus: I, too, have had MANY fuel injector problems with my 04 Stratus sxt. As of August of 2006, according to the dealer and dodge corporate, there were not any recalls for this issue... but if you find something out about such a recall, please let me know! I finally had to get rid of the car because these fuel injector issues were 'not under warranty' and I couldn't afford ... Read More
