2023 Volvo S90 Trims Comparison

The S90 B6 has a turbocharged and supercharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine (295 horsepower, 310 lb-ft of torque), a 48-volt mild hybrid system, and an eight-speed automatic transmission. All-wheel drive is standard.

The S90 Recharge is a plug-in hybrid pairing a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine with a rear-mounted 107-kW electric motor and an 18.8-kWh battery pack (455 horsepower, 523 lb-ft of torque). Like the S90 B6, it uses an eight-speed automatic transmission and has standard all-wheel drive. This drivetrain provides an estimated 38 miles of electric driving range before reverting to gas-engine operation.

Two S90 trim levels are available: Plus and Ultimate. The mild hybrid B6 drivetrain is available in both, while the Recharge plug-in hybrid drivetrain comes only with the Ultimate trim. The highlights of each follow below.

This base trim kicks off the S90 lineup with these standard feature highlights:
