Have had this car since new in my family. Never had any issues besides regular maintenance. Has been an amazing machine and still continues to this day with 87,500 miles on it. Not bad for it being 13 almost 14 years old. Body, trans and engine still in amazing shape and hopefully will be for years to come.

The Volvo S80 is reliable, sporty, and fun to drive. I have had mine for 10 years and absolutely love it. It handles well, still looks good. The interior is real leather and wood, It is roomy enough and seats fold down for long packages. The only complaint I have ever had is the slight hesitation when you step on the gas, it is something you have to get used to, but could be annoying for some people. Volvo told me this model has that issue, even though it is a peppy 6 cylinder.
Got me hooked on Volvo!

I bought a used 2010 S80 in 2012 with 20k miles on it. It now, at nearly 15 years old has well over 200k miles. It has been the best car I have ever owned. Extremely reliable and it still drives like brand new. People are always shocked when they drive or ride in it by how well made it is and how smoothly it still drives. It has never let me down and has made me a true believer in Volvo and a customer for life.

I have convenience and comfort packages with bixenon swivel headlights. The car drives much better than I thought over windy roads, especially using the flawless Geartronic transmission aggressively. DTSC keeps the car tight to the road and comfort level is awesome. I had compared the S80 to Audi A4 Prestige model and it was less expensive. Audi A6 is actually the comparable car but way more expensive! Control panel with buttons is more intuitive than the I- drive on German sedans. MPG is as advertized--23 MPG pure highway and 17- 19 mixed depending on driving conditions.
