Great "Car"
Purchased 2022 Passat limited edition in 1st week December 2021. Initial review. Great car. Good on gas. Very comfortable, nice leather, great stereo, nice Adaptive headlights. Has many things better than competitors. Has a few things missing. Heated steering wheel, wireless charging come to mind. Final year for this vehicle. Shame, everybody loving suvs and shifting to electric. Too bad. Not a fan of the full electric. I'd recommend this if you can get your hands on the limited. 31k gets you nicely loaded. No upcharge at the dealer which was refreshing. Went to honda, chevy, Nissan and others without much luck finding a deal like this one. Love the looks of this especially.

Don't Knock the Passat
My lease was nearing an end on my Alfa Romeo Giulia. I was looking at other premium badges but due to supply chain issues I could not find what I wanted. So I decided to get a 2022 VW Passat Limited. I owned virtually an identical 2016 Passat SEL Premium. I actually thought it was the best car and best value I ever owned. I do not understand why the Passat is so undervalued by many. The car has lots of room, great safety and convenience technologies including hands free trunk opening, lane assist, blind-side warning, front end collision avoidance, great navigation screen resolution, extremely clear rear camera, parallel parks by itself, very good sound system, adaptive cruise control, LED lights, heated seats (front and back), real spare tire, 4 year 50K bumper to bumper warranty, a trunk that doesn't require a gymnast to store golf clubs, and more. Maybe I'll get my fully loaded BMW 430i convertible next time. But for now I am happy to drive my Passat. Just to update . . . Had this Passat for 16 months. I stand by my earlier review. No problems and still very satisfied.

Great car
This 2022 is my third Passat. The Safety features which come standard make this car a great value. Has that solid German feel. Good range 400+ miles. The interior is superb. Nice job VW.

Spacious but sluggish
Rented 2022 Passat for several days. I found it spacious but underpowered. It lagged when accelerating. It also had more road noise than my 2007 Honda Accord. It was economical on gas.

Very Good Car
Purchase a 2022 Passat R-Line Great amount of room interior and trunk, seats are comfortable. Rides better in drive mode than Sport. Great highway gas mileage. Underpowered especially when loaded with passengers. Not quick or particular fast but has a decent get up from 40-80 mph. Don't like navigation visual appearance could be more colorful. Don't like imitation dual exhaust. Small side mirrors. Features aren't generally lacking for standard. Not meant to compete against Audi, if you have too many features then it would be and also it prices would go up. It's just a Passat not trying to be nothing else, if you want more get a Audi A4 and shell out 15-20 extra grand or a VW Arteon RLine.

Reliable
I love the car. It’s economical, practical, decent looking (good if you get R line), very comfortable, and overall a great daily. Don’t expect it to blow your mind with driving capabilities, it’s a front wheel drive 2 liters class D sedan. Plenty of power on freeway to get you to 80-90mph on freeway with no issues.

Passat problems
I loved VW period. for years. When I was a child my parents had a VW bus and it was great. I bought the 2022 Passat Limited brand new and it has been a MAJOR problem! Brakes, transmission, steering, tires, center entertainment won’t come on intermittently, transmission drops in and out of gear, and it’s all been worked on. I am currently sitting in yet another waiting room to see what is wrong with it now. This is a hirrible car and I would absolutely advise anyone to stay away from this money pit!
