2020 Ford Explorer
ST clearly given the best looks and most powerful engine option. In fact, I'd find it hard to accept a Platinum at slightly more $. For a vehicle of it's size, the ST trim really scoots and rises to the top of the segment in terms of handling and quickness. You'd have to look much higher at the Q7 or X7 to find something comparable. However, luxury, even in the higher trims, it is … not. A lot of hard plastics and pieces sort of cludged together. Still, the platform represents a solid value, especially in ST form for enthusiasts, as there is nothing mainstream quite as compelling. It really is the only option under $70k.
