Great hybrid

2021 Toyota Venza XLE 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

Exchanged my gas guzzling SUV for this sleek, hybrid SUV. It’s beautiful inside and out. It has enough HP so it’s fast on the highway and still gets great MPG. The basic model comes with plenty of options and they are all hybrid and AWD no matter which one you choose.

Love the Limited with Technology Package

The camera with the technology package is incredibly useful. The Birds eye view for parking lots and the garage is invaluable for parking in tight areas. I know exactly where my bumpers are. As a woman, I appreciate the 360 view when parked to check my surroundings. The digital rear view mirror gives me complete coverage of all lanes behind me, it is the best for safety, with no blind spots. I love no knobs on the infotainment center, the push button to talk takes care of all my needs, along with the up and down volume control, all on the steering wheel. The stargazer window is great when opaque for our hot summers and the air cooled seat are wonderful. I love this car.

Love this Hybrid AWD SUV

Formally owned an RX450 H and considered going back to another 450H or NX model, but test drove this Venza. The Venza has not disappointed and we love it. The acceleration is better than the NX and maybe even the RX 450h and the gas mileage is so much better. We also saved a bunch of money picking it over the Lexus. The ride and smooth and quiet and the interior is very comfortable and well laid out. It’s a little smaller than the RX, but it’s fine for our family of 4 to go on a week long vacation. Great hybrid SUV.

We bought the Limited. We have only had it for a week. A little more road noise than I would;d like. Comfortable ride. My wife was getting mid 40's around town . We were getting about 39 on the drive from Florida to New Jersey. The interior is similar to a Lexus that we had. It only has one 12v socket and it is inside the center console. Another one somewhere on the dash would be nice. The hybrid system seems to be noisier when pulling in or out of the garage. This is a nice vehicle for people that don't have to haul a bunch of things around.

LE is best bang for your buck!!

2021 Toyota Venza LE 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl gas/electric hybrid CVT)

I purchased Venza LE a couple of weeks ago. I was initially in the market for a Hybrid compact SUV and test drove the RAV4 hybrid and felt like a solid vehicle, but has engine noise as my Prius does. The electric hum also quite noticeable when the car runs on pure EV. However, I was not fully convinced to pay the full price of the RAV4 XLE hybrid with convenience and all-weather packages - it didn't justify my budget. I am glad that I found a slightly-used around 3K miles ( by the dealer, sold as a new to me), probably used it for test drives and/or by a salesperson(s). I negotiated it for a whopping 10% off the dealer's invoice price that came below the MSRP of RAV4 Hybrid LE. I am happy with the car for the following four reasons: 1) Very quiet ride and up-class interior and overall style. 2) Available push-button interface (unlike XLE and Limited) 3) Standard features in LE such as remote start, wireless phone charger, leather wrap steering wheel, heated mirrors, electronic tilt-telescopic steering wheel, electronic driver-seat controls, and auto rare hatch lift-gate. 4) Superb fit and finish - it is assembled in Japan. But it has its negatives too: 1) lacks in the trunk cargo capacity compared to RAV4, that's my compromise - even though it's not as bad I thought 2) Looks small, but it is not and, 3) Visibility is not as great as RAV4; with all the sensors around the car, it easy to drive nevertheless. Here are some of my personal views in this regard 1) The RAV4 hybrid is not going to satisfy consumers considering its standard features and the price point - it's insane!! Look at how premium CRV or Mazda CX5 or new Rogue comparatively feels. 2) This is where exactly Venza competes, however with a higher price tag. Consider Venza as a compact SUV and a redesigned next-generation RAV4 hybrid. 3) Keep Venza LE as an option if you are shopping for a RAV4 hybrid for better value - there is a price overlap compared to RAV4 LE/XLE and easy to negotiate!! I will keep updating this review as my car gets older
