250,000 miles and still not a single issue.
Bought a 4 cyl FWD new around my 40th birthday. Now sitting at 250,000 miles and at 58 I've had to replace a wire on a brake light. $55. That's it. Obviously have done brakes and tires but that's it. Bought a RAV4 Hybrid since but kept the Venza for friends, guests, family. The quality is extraordinary.

Typical Toyota
As with all cars...there are pros and cons....this is no different. We bought the Venza because it looks good (still does even now in 2019), drives well and the 2.7 is a bulletproof motor. When we bought the car used in 2014 (44k on the clock). The steering column was an issue and after I researched it and made Toyota aware of it, they did replace the steering column on their dime. Other than that and a new evaporator core ($1200), the car has been trouble free. The tires are expensive (we have 19' wheels). We bought the Bridgestone Alenzas and they are just fine. We get about 23MPG which is not great but look what it is--a family crossover. This is our 4th Toyota (2 tacomas, and a prius) and it has been a solid car. Now it has 142k on the clock and still running strong. We plan on taking it to FL this summer for vacation. We highly recommend it for families that do not want a minivan (been there done that) but want practicality and good looks.

Love my Venza!
Love this car! We purchased the 4 cylinder engine - AWD model in June 2009, and have never been sorry we did. It is a reliable and safe vehicle and the drive is smooth and comfortable. We never had a maintenance problem, just followed the manufacturers service recommendations. If it were not for the fact that my 6'2" husband who is now a stroke patient needs more leg room to get in/out of the car easily, I would not be trading this car in. We are trading our Venza in for a Highlander in order to accommodate my husband's medical needs - more legroom and a higher seat level. I will definitely miss my Venza.

Love my Venza!!
I bought my 2009 FWD 6-Cyl Venza in May, 2009. I now have 81,000+ miles on it and have only had one minor problem in the last 4.5 years! It is the best car I have ever owned and I love everything about it. I think it's the best kept secret on the market. I recently bought a vacation condo near the beach and was able to transport all of my odds and ends - chairs, headboard, kitchen table, etc in my car at various times because there is so much cargo room. I'll probable replace my car at the end of 2014 and it will be another Venza!
Well balanced vehicle
I wanted sport car like handling but needed to tow a 2700lb trailer. The Highlander was too expensive and the handling characteristics of the Venza is much better. The car feels more balanced than the 57/43 front/rear weight would suggest. Plenty of power and corners like a slot car compared to the Highlander or Rav4 due to the lower center of gravity. Love the interior room and comfort and ergonomics. I have been getting 24 mpg combined city highway and easily get 27 mpg straight hwy.
