Rushed to market?
Owned 4 months with 4,200 miles. Overall I'm very satisfied and getting compliments on the truck however there are a few items Toyota needs to address. *Window and door gaskets. *Black body tape peeling on door pillar. *Clear rocker panel tape not sealed looks like air bubbles. * Hard bed cover rubber is oxidizing. *Bumper end pieces not fitting evenly. *Wind screen on sunroof is pulling away from frame. * Hopefully gas mpg will improve in time. Highest 19.8 average 17.7.

A mixed bag of tricks…
I came from a 2020 SR5 crew max 4x4 trail edition. Compared to that truck, the tech is nice (big screen on the responsive infotainment system, wireless Apple CarPlay). The interior is a nice upgrade from the previous generation truck with regards to comfort and convenience features. The JBL audio system is rather good. However, the quality of the interior controls leaves a bit to be desired. The control panel for the driver side power seat has cracked twice and has needed to be replaced twice. The hybrid system is nice as it fills torque in before the turbos spool up. However, 48 hp from the electric motor is rather lackluster for a 3 ton truck. It doesn’t take much of a shove on the throttle to get the gas motor to fire. The logic of hybrid controller is rather illogical. It doesn’t always fire the electric motor when you’d expect it (eg from a standstill with a full charge). Although the MPG is about 3-5 better than the old truck, it still does not hit the EPA combined rating. I will see it on individual trips but averaged over a longer distance, it seems to be about 2 mpg below the combined rating of 20. Better than the previous truck but still short of the window sticker. The ride (although firm) and handling are better compared to the previous truck. As for long term reliability and durability, it is still to be determined. My vehicle has a leaking CV boot (10k miles). It mostly has been driven on the highway. Toyota has no ETA on the replacement part which is concerning. As an aside, I needed a replacement center cap for one of the wheels. I was told that there was no ETA for that part either.

Glitchy
It seemed like this truck was a great purchase. That only lasted two days. Within the third say a sensor malfunction light came on. Didn't take much to fix. Within a few weeks the truck started to make a weird sound when starting. It sounds like a beat up engine! Like its on its last miles. Took it to dealer. They said its normal. IT DOES NOT SOUND NORMAL! I have only put 9,00 miles on the engine. Malfunction on the power steering pressure. Today, there was some good rain. As soon as I get into truck I notice all the water that leaked into the cabin from the rear bed light, as well as corner top of rear cabin. Every time I take my truck to the dealer, they act like there is nothing wrong on my truck. The service is horrible as well as the build of the truck. Push to a year of fighting dealer to fix issue, dealer fought me up to last day when I returned truck and got my money back. 22 Tundras were built horrible. 23 Tundra however, was built awesome! Not one issue!

2022 Toyota Tundra Platinum
I recently switched from and older 7.3L F-250 to the 22 tundra platinum edition and am very pleased with the truck although I did have some concerns. Obviously I was concerned with the power but let me tell you, this truck moves and has plenty of power to tow boat/trailer while maintaining the comfort and drivability of the vehicle. My biggest issue with the tundra is the start/stop functionality and the PCA (pre collision assist system) - Start/stop: I understand the concept of this feature however no matter what technology is introduced having your vehicle turn off when approaching a light after a long drive cannot be good on the engine, starter or the turbo. I wish there was a way to disable this permanently. Each time you turn your vehicle off, when you start it again, the start/stop system defaults to on so I have to turn it off every time I get in my vehicle. Not the biggest issues but something that does bother me -PCA: I think this is the biggest bug in the Tundra and is going to hurt someone. I've already informed the dealer and have submitted feedback to the manufacturer. The PCA system will sense if the truck may be getting to close to the vehicle in front of you, or if you or pulling into a parking spot with a bush in front, you sometimes have to pull forward a bit so you aren't sticking out. Well this system doesn't differentiate between a bush vs a wall and will systematically trigger the brakes locking them up not allowing you to pull forward. This is my biggest pain point. One day I was driving and was about 100-150 yards away from a red light and was coasting to the stoplight around 30MPH. The light turned green and knew by the time I got close to the car in front of me, they would be moving forward so braking wasn't needed. Well, my truck had other plans. All of a sudden, the truck sounded these very loud beeping alarms, "BRAKE" in red flashed on my dash, and the truck overrode my control and locked the brakes throwing me forward bringing me to a complete stop in the middle of the road at a green light. Both my dogs in the back seat were also thrown forward and my 12 year dog injured his back leg and hasn't been able to go on a walk since. In addition, the car behind me almost slammed into me because my truck auto enabled the brakes in the middle of the road at a green light. It honestly scared the hell out of me as I've never had anything like that happen. It's now happened 3 different times now and is incredibly concerning. This seems like a critical recall to me. I now disable this system before I leave my driveway. I know my comments above are focused on the negatives of what I don't like. However those are my only two issues. Other than that, I love everything about this truck. Drives and handles like a dream. I've had the truck now for 6 months and am averaging 17-18 mpg. I'm light on the gas pedal and once you get to moving speed, maintaining that speed definitely helps with MPG.

Sold at 18,000 miles
I was excited to get my new Tundra. The redesign was really appealing, advertised MPG was quite a bit better than my previous trucks, and I assumed it would hold up to the build-quality and reliability standard that Toyota is known for. Also, the value-retention was appealing. The only things I can say I was right about were the value-retention and the appearance. At 18,000 miles, I am averaging 16.3 MPG. 80% of my miles are flat, highway miles. My windshield chipped, and I was quoted $1,700 to replace it (I could have gone through insurance and paid $500 deductible, but opted to have it repaired instead). Driver seat plastic trim cracked, despite me being particularly careful as I had read this was a common issue. Toyota reluctantly agreed to replace it "once" under warranty, but said it would likely happen again and would not be covered. Wind noise is awful. Dealer "can not replicate". Passengers always ask if one of the windows is open because its so bad. JBL premium sound is mediocre, at best. Bose, Alpine, HK, B&O are all far superior in other truck brands. Turbo lag is really bad. I never know if I am going to get immediate response from the gas pedal or not. Off a stop, I have had 2-3 second lags, then truck jolts forward. On the freeway, feathering the gas pedal seems to get turbos ready to make a pass, though. Start/Stop feature is obnoxious/clunky, and has no way to permanently override. Navigation screen is basically a billboard for advertising to subscribe to their monthly navigation service. It defaults to that every time I drive it. CarPlay connects intermittently, works great when it does, but not at all when it decides not to. Lights come on dash randomly (lane assist error, parking brake error, etc), and supposedly was fixed with a software update. I still get messages. I've had 6 recalls that seem to take all day to fix, and my local Toyota store has no loaners, and no shuttle. So I am utilizing ride share more than I'd like to on a nearly new truck. My tailgate can be opened with the fob, or will just open whenever it decides to do so. I can see the truck from my office window and have seen the tailgate drop itself, while my keys are sitting on the desk in plain sight. Seats are clunky and make popping noises when entering/exiting vehicle. The headrest design is bad, and pushes my head forward in a way that strains my neck. I can not find a comfortable seating position in this truck. Thankfully, it has held value really well. One of the online car-buying sites offered me $5,500 less than MSRP for it and they are picking it up today. Coming from a 2019 Ram Laramie, I can't say there was one thing that was better about the Toyota, besides the value retention. I got better gas mileage in the 5.7 HEMI than I did in this Tundra. My 2016 GMC 5.3L also did slightly better as well. I think Toyota missed the mark on the 2022. Hopefully they have addressed some of these issues in 23 and 24 year models. I won't miss this truck, and am excited to see it get hauled off today.

Definitely a big change
Well, I traded in a 2021 Sierra 1500 Duramax for the 2022 Tundra Platinum. I will say, the Interior is a big step in the right direction. Truck overall has a lot of awesome features and upgrades. You definitely do not feel like you’re in a V6, it has amazing power and rides very smooth. Sometimes I honestly forget I am even driving a truck. ( Not sure I like that feeling.) I miss the truck like feeling I had with the Sierra, i’m crazy I know. The Infotainment system has some areas that need to improve, example before you put it into drive you need to select your profile in order to use things like navigation. If you choose to turn off Apple/Android CarPlay in constantly pops up a window that says connection failed. Extremely annoying. Remote start is setup a little goofy. When you remote start and walk up to your truck and unlock it, it turns the truck off and you need to restart it again. Toyota says this is a security feature. GMC had that figured out pretty easy, you need the fob in order to drive away. I miss the trifold tailgate. I do love the panoramic moonroof, 14 inch screen is beautiful and the ambient lighting is really cool. Overall for this being my first ever Toyota, its very nice and a well built truck. Consul safe is a win and the ventilated rear seats and back window sunshades are awesome, especially living in AZ. I will be patient and try to adjust to some of the difference from my previous truck. Overall you get a ton of luxury and comfort for the price you pay with the Platinum and I think that’s a big plus.

Many great things! A few annoying things!
Pros: The engine power is phenomenal and the infotainment system is great, the stereo sounds incredible. A few glitches here and there, sometimes the iPhone doesn't connect and you have to turn the truck off and on again to connect it. The Army Green looks amazing when the sun hits it. Seats are great. Back seat storage is great. Price - compared to the overpriced alternatives, it was a good deal for what you get. Cons: The ride quality on the TRD Sport is terrible...TERRIBLE. Every little tiny bump - you don't just feel it once, you feel it 2-3 more times and it hits hard. They need to fix the suspension, it's bad - IMO it should be recalled and better shocks installed - it's back hurting bad. It bounces all around when you hit little bumps, even going slow. My 2004 Nissan Titan rode better. (Update: Getting rid of the Geolandar XC tires and replacing them with some A/T tires helped a bit, but the ride could still be better, but you lose 1-2 MPG with A/T tires.) Gas mileage is pretty bad. I'm getting average around 15-16 mpg with combo of rural and highway driving, in Eco mode...I thought going with a smaller engine with turbos would increase gas mileage, but it doesn't seem that great. Turning radius is horrific.

Knocking Noise and damage on the tailgate
Bought a New Truck Toyota Tundra 2022 on July 2022 From Toyota Canada Montreal Gabriel DealerI, found few days later a damage, this damage was made by the dealer or during delivery process.I Sent the Photos to Toyota Canada. I raised a complaint to the Toyota compliance team but it was in vain. After i filled out the survey negatively. They called me and said that they will repair the damage, and until now They didn't proceed with the repairs and they don't answer anymore when i try to reach them. I am still waiting for them to respect the Warranty. Second Issue: I hear a Knocking noise when driving over bumps, i showed it to 2 Toyota Dealers in my area, they say it is normal. and when reading reviews on the net, some owners in Canada and USA get it fixed at the Dealer in their Areas. I chose Toyota for best customer service but that did not happen. For a brand new Truck, i was a nightmare as experience. Toyota... Shame on you
Wireless charger does not work
There are so many forums for Toyota tundras where the wireless chargers does not work and Toyota will not do anything to fix the issue. For such an expensive truck you would think this kind of stuff wouldn’t happen and if it did that Toyota would fix it. Since it’s not a safety issue where they can be sued then they won’t fix it
Catastrophic failure at 2000 miles
I have a 2022 1794 hybrid with 2000 miles and 2 mos old. Had a catastrophic failure while driving, engine steering and brakes failed. Luckily I lived, Toyota won't buy the car back they think its my problem nor will the dealer do anything they blame it on toyota.Do not buy this vehicle it's literally risking you and your family's life. Sad I bought Toyota for perceived quality and service, what a joke.
Limited. Tons of features Gets looks everywhere
Picked up this dealer ordered Limited with premium options added with virtually no mark up in California for just about 63,000 after the person who ordered it apparently couldn't qualify for financing. It was built in mid February 2022 so earlier production run wastegate issues from the supplier we're not a problem. Included 20 inch wheels with dealer added BF Goodrich offroad tires, four-wheel drive, panoramic sunroof, multitude of trailer controls, adjustable rear air suspension, adjustable rear loading height, heated and cooled 8 way powered front seats in softex which is actually better than leather because it won't fade as bad and it won't absorb UV rays and retain heat the same way as leather. The 14in infotainment screen has got to be seen to believed. Got the upgraded JBL sound system which makes the lower bitrate satellite signal sound amazing. There are certainly improvements that could be made and I have already received one software update which smoothed out a few glitches. Some minor things are a bit frustrating but nothing you can't get used to easily.. For example when you turn off the engine the radio turns off. They should allow the radio to stay on for at least a few minutes if you don't manually shut it down. The screen power-up time is actually not as slow as it seems but I think it could be quicker and when you add the fact that sometimes you just want to sit in the truck and listen to the radio with the engine off it can be a little annoying to restart it, but it's only a few seconds. I don't know why it isn't automatically recognizing the key fob every time and making me manually pick my profile but I think software updates will resolve that. You have two choices for automatic seat adjustment. There are buttons on the driver side door and also you can program them in your profile. The remote start from the app is hit-or-miss but that could have to do more with the internet connection. I found it didn't work from my den but when I went outside it worked and then when I returned it back to my den it worked. As for the key fob remote start it works fine you just have to press lock three times in quick succession holding on the 3rd press for about seven or eight seconds. The fact that the truck then turns off again when you unlock the door is a bit annoying the Toyota says it is a safety issue. Either way with remote start cooling down the cab the few seconds it takes you to get back in and restart the vehicle shouldn't result in any loss of the cool environment on hot days. Personally I don't like Android auto. Even though having it wireless is unique, the interface that Android has designed is terrible . I would like to see Android carplay let you mirror your phone the way it shows on your phone and allows you to use all of the apps on your phone. By the way, if you want to use your Google Assistant instead of using Android Auto you just need to choose the audio source as your phone then you can just use the Google Assistant if you don't like the Toyota assistant. You do not need to pay for the AT&T subscription to continue to use the web-based Toyota assistant for navigation and basic internet questions although the network sometimes doesn't work because they are getting the bugs out. I'm not sure if it is a satellite-based system but it does work without paying for the AT&T subscription. Once again I'm sure software updates will resolve this over the short run. The only real reason you need to pay for the AT&T subscription is if you are using Amazon music or Apple music through the Toyota assistant and if you want a hotspot. I have found there's no reason to pay for that because if I want Amazon music I will just use the app on my phone and also my phone can be a hotspot. I might change my mind on this later but for now I don't see it as a necessary subscription expense. The navigation screen works great and for me I manually set screen to night mode because I find the white screen a bit annoying great it would be nice if they offered different colors of backgrounds for the daytime instead of a glaring white. One of the coolest things I like about these types of Toyota's is the completely lowering rear window makes it almost like driving a convertible with all the windows and the panoramic sunroof open. If you're camping in your truck bed with a bed tent, access to the cab is that much easier... besides the dogs love being able to bark at people behind me. This truck is quick. Let me tell you putting it in sport mode will blow your mind. Of course the gas mileage is nowhere near what you would hope a V6 would be but with the horsepower and towing capabilities I can't say it really matters that much to me, but if you get up to speed right away and take it easy afterward you probably can get 14 in the city and up to 21 in the highway on eco mode. I prefer to get up to speed in normal or sport mode and then take it easy on the throttle. When I'm at speed on a straightaway or freeway I keep it in eco mode so that it stays in the higher gears and saves gas because it already has momentum. Combined city and highway has been around 16 up to 17. Nowhere near as good as advertised but then who lives on a straightaway? I manually added some OEM running boards. There are YouTube tutorials on how to install them. Very easy. I'm going to ad a tonneau cover and it looks like the OEM trifold for my short bed is the best route for security and looks. I will be adding the TRD skid plate in the front and perhaps the metal blackout letter inserts for the Tundra imprint in the back of the truck. Considering that a Ford Raptor is over a hundred thousand dollars, and although it does have many tremendous qualities including a fancier interior and a bit more horsepower, I still think the value for what you get in this Tundra is much much greater and delivering a very similar experience. At one point I was looking at getting a Ford Tremor but the dealer markups were crazy. If I decide to go off-roading a lot more than planned I can always upgrade my suspension and lift the vehicle more although I don't see it as being necessary since it already has a very aggressive stance. Highly recommend this truck. Remember all the whining and complaining you're seeing online is from people who are expecting miracles from Toyota in this redesign. Sure there are some misses, but as the years go by you will find that the reliability and the looks of this truck will stand the test of time versus its competitors. Update Nov 22': No real changes from my original review except to say I wish the factory would include catalytic converter theft protection. I'm going to add a cage manually. The best truck in the market, hands down. Update, November 2023, 23,000 miles after 21 months: Still excellent! Powerful, fun, capable. Gets great looks. Whenever I find myself in front of a Ford Raptor or high-end Chevy Truck, I raise and lower my rear window just so they can see it. By the way, dealer wanted $80 for cabin air filter replacement, get your own .. about $20 oem, takes literally 60 seconds after opening glovebox. I suggest, during the first few years. you pay the extra $40 for oil changes at the dealer as they do a great insurrection. Finally, when it comes time to replace your tires, if not already done. Get the Bridgestone All Terrain A/T K02s. I got mine on delivery. Should last 50k

65k but still lacking some basics.
2022 Truck looks and drives great. Does not feel like a V6. I try to drive conservatively and I’m struggling to get 15-16 miles per gallon. Window sticker says 17 city and 22 highway. Currently at 1800 miles on my Platinum and haven’t seen 17mpg once which is disappointing. Also, there’s an SRS airbag malfunction warning that randomly comes on. I’ve been unable to make it to the dealer when it happens but plan to take it in soon. I love the truck but for a platinum the back doors should unlock by hand like the front. Very frustrating considering this should be standard for a plat. Our 2018 land cruiser has it so it’s super noticeable. Update. Truck was in shop a combined 32 days and Toyota could not fix warning light. Said it’s under investigation. Update. Toyota said remedy not available for the malfunction repair. Dealer wouldn’t help at all.

Not the vehicle the 07,08,10,12 were.... SO SAD
I have driven my 2022 Tundra 1794 for almost a year now and I am so thankful I kept my older 2010 Tundra Platinum (fishing truck).... The fuel economy is exactly the same on both and the 2010 will burn Flex Fuel if I needed to, the navigation no longer works even though I have the giant screen since they want me to pay a monthly subscription to use navigation... The 2010 navigation still works great and has cost nothing except a map upgrade a couple of years ago for 100 bucks. The remote start no longer works on the key fob nor with the app since it is also part of the subscription. I have never paid 70K for a truck and then have to pay a monthly fee to get the accessories to work... They have also found so many uses of reclaimed water bottles inside and out that I wonder how long the plastic will last. After 5 tundras I never thought I would drive anything else but this on is for sale and I will never repeat the mistake....

Monthly Fees to use features that you paid for!
The truck is great. It does have a little turbo lag, but not bad. It drives well, it's comfortable, it's fun, the tech is great. My biggest complaint is that you buy the truck, then Toyota makes you pay $15 per month for the app (that doesn't consistently work) to use basic features like remote start. Paying month after month for a standard feature for the limited tundra TRD is ridiculous. The app has gotten many reviews stating both that it doesn't work, and you shouldn't have to pay for it. I am disappointed that Toyota has no response other than, yes, you do have to pay extra.

Fell out of love with it.
I really enjoyed almost all aspects of the truck when I first bought it. Lately I’ve been questioning whether it will be a good long term vehicle to own. There have been a handful of recalls for my vehicle. Now there is an interim notice for engine failure due to debris in the engine. Seems negligent on the part of Toyota. I also had my rear door window smashed 7 weeks ago when someone tried to steel my truck. No windows available and no ETA from supplier. I’m also being told that no aftermarket options are available. I bought it based in part on Toyota’s reputation and in my opinion it does not live up to it. I’m pretty disappointed to be frank.

Amazing Changes
First off, I'm learning that the people who are giving these trucks negative reviews are just ol school pissed off Tundra owners who are mad because the V8 is gone, so they take small problems and go on social media. Like the ""wastegate" issue. That was not even a big problem and the issue was quickly addressed by Toyota (Simply a batch of bad parts *note* you haven't heard of it since). It was just a pissed off guy that went to social media and it went viral. BTW, Toyota fixed his truck. This is my 1st Toyota period and I came from Ford and Nissan trucks. I thought the Nissan Titan was the best truck ever, until I bought this Tundra. Ok I will admit there are some things that they should have done differently, but none of them were deal breakers. Like tow hooks, bed step (included). This is a awesome truck and it will continue to sell. I love mine and I not concerned about the reliability of it. Toyota doesn't build junk, they build high quality vehicles. People need to understand that times are changing. The old stuff is gone and the new is beginning. If I'm gonna trust any manufacturer with new tech, it would definitely be Toyota. If you like the truck, buy it! It's a great truck! I plan on having mine for years to come. ...If you trusted Toyota in the past, I'm sure you can trust them now. STOP LISTENING TO THE NEGATIVE STUFF ON SOCIAL MEDIA! YOUR GONNA MISS OUT ON A GREAT TRUCK!

Major Engine failure at 35 miles
First of all, I really loved driving this truck. It was really amazing to drive on the highway. A lot of power. Very roomy interior. I also like to driving around with the rear window completely down. It’s a unique feature for a truck. The main issues that I had were these: major engine malfunction at about 35 miles on the odometer. Very weak air conditioner. Cheap seat started cracking immediately on the driver side. Infotainment system died within the first 500 miles although this could’ve been damaged when they removed the engine to repair the major engine issue. This truck, even with the short bed is slightly longer than other trucks that are in the same overall size range. This means that it was much more difficult to navigate around town and to fit in a garage. Just the slight difference is a big deal. Overall had tons of issues and the truck spent more time in the garage. Then I actually owned it and had use of it. Very disappointing, and unreliable. Would still consider a future model though. I lemoned this truck.

So far it’s been great, I love the safety features but will keep an eye on the PAC system. Read where a guy had a issues with his dogs in the back. The truck rides awesome and inside interior is the nicest Tundra I’ve had and I’ve had 3 now. Never had an issue with a Toyota.

2022 The worst of all
We have owned 7 Toyotas, and 4 of them were Tundras. We now have a 2013 and a 2022. The 2022 seats feel like we are sitting on springs. It is a noisy ride. We hear the wind like a window is partially down. Not comfortable at all. We travel a lot but prefers driving the 2013.

Toyota hit a home-run!
The new tundra took some getting used to. Coming from a 2020 tundra, the 2022 is a GIGANTIC leap forward. The pinnacle of luxury, in a truck. Really There is something to beware of! The side trim pieces are not designed well, and lots of people have problems with them. Toyota will fix them of course, but it should never happen with a $75k truck. Toyota needs to fix that asap. Some people are having wastegate issues with the turbos, probably an issue with one of the suppliers. I haven’t had that issue but it seems fairly common. Overall I’m extremely happy with the truck. It’s comfortable and powerful. Toyota has designed a truck that can now compete feature-wise with other trucks (Ram, F-150, Silverado), and they hit the ground running.

Coming from a 2020 Trd Pro I wasn’t sure if I was going to like the v6 Twin Turbo. After seeing the truck in person & driving it, I completely forgot about my 2020! The new tech, comfort features, pano roof, smooth power and transmission sold me!

Low quality body built
I have had my Tundra for 6months I love how it drives and the big screen. My biggest issue is the built quality. The body is very fragile. I gently reversed into hip of snow twice and car got broken the 2 times. 1st time a piece of the right rear bumper broke and fell off. 2nd time the low impact was on the bed step, to my surprise hip of snow broke the bed step, it broke and fell out from under the truck and can't be fixed again. Common hip of snow shouldn't brake what is expected to carry your weight. I used to have 2013 4runner which was a tank compare to this new Tundra. Fancy but body is not reliable

Selling the truck after about 25,000 miles, recalls keep coming, the latest one is for metal chips in the engine, our dealer says Toyota is still figuring it out, so the issue remains on hold. Turbos stopped working a few months ago, but now they need to be replaced, and that takes about 2 weeks, had a gas line recall and many others, when will it end? Head rests force you head down so far, it gives you neck pain. Toyota did not include a Navigation system, so any issue with your phone and you better have a paper map in your car! I think they rushed this to the market, we are selling it once the turbos get fixed. Four will drive system only works when the wheels can slip, so in most cases you have a rear-wheel-drive truck. Selling to buy a GMC>

Ok
Rear view mirror no hookup for garage door.back seat is small.gas mileage is no where near what's advertised. Have to subscribe to get navigation. I only hope its dependable
Been at dealership more then 4 months
Wish I could say I loved my toyota. Every month that I owned it something go wronge its been in sop sense May and will be well in shop into September who knows for sure. They fix one thing then call me tell me there's more to fix absolutely junk I wished I had two used ford's I would be able to work visit my grandkids instead of paying for a truck I can't drive

Not missing thevV8
My old Tundra SR5 hit 245000 trouble free miles, the only thing replaced was the starter at 187k. I was was worried about leaving my old V8 but this new V6 Tundra is everything the truck was and more.

Owned a 22 for 2 mth then switched to a 21
The horse power is adequate but the turbo component/waste gate is a known reliability issue. Also the hood is 10+ inches longer than 21 for no benefits, which makes it very difficult to drive around. MPG is almost the same as 21. This model is a compromised green product and Toyota eventually has to switch back to the 8 cyl design to save this brand. Suspension/drive comfortability is good, but it doesn't matter when the engine reliability is in question.

Cool 22 Tundra
Purchased mine in March of 22 and have had a great experience. Its smooth fast and most fun truck i have owned. No issues at all with this truck and i live in the country with very little city traffic to deal with so my gas milage is 22 most all the time.

rattles a little. door unlock options
This truck drives and rides fine, but on a road with minor bumps the fancy arm rest makes an annoying rattle sound. Also, there is no way to adjust all four doors to unlock when you touch the driver's; only the driver's door will unlock from this position. When you touch the passenger from door; then all four will open. Why not have an option for the driver's door to operate the same way?

Great truck
So much space..panoramic roof. 14 inch screen. Bluetooth CarPlay. Wifi in truck! Back up cameras. Rear view camera in rear view mirror. Camera to check out items in the truck bed. When vehicle stops, optional setting to see if vehicle is in lane. Four wheel drive. Love this truck.

MPG and Power Steering
V6 is still bad mpg same as older Toyota Tundra. Poor power steering at curves road. Android Auto problems due poor electricity systems. I plan selling my 2022 Tundra. I should keep my ex Chevrolet Silverado 1500 at first place.

Coming from a Tacoma to a Tundra is like night and day. Great power, ride, and plenty of room.

Love it
I love it, but it has too many options that I didn’t need that ran the price up. It was the only one I could find so I bought.

Almost as nice as a 2017 F-150 Lariat FX4
I love the truck, but I’ve been shocked to find how much money I’ve needed to sink in to match our prior truck 1:1. There’s definitely a Toyota premium. Fingers crossed it pays off in resale value down the road.

Junk!!!
This is not worth the money. I'm trading my 2022 in for a Ram 1500. Much better towing! The electronics are not stable and the readings are off quite a bit.

Great so afar!
I have about 5000 miles but like it better than my 2018 regarding safety, mpg, and design. Comfort is about the same as 2007 & 2018. Software for driver interface/phone linkage is a clear weakness and Toyota should leave that to a 3rd party.

Great truck
Great fuel mileage compared to last tundra. I have no issues with this truck and think the very few trucks that have issues is overblown based on internet views and not real truck owners.

Love Love Love it.
Love everything except that it does not have a tailgate release bump switch
Very Satisfied.
My 2001 Tundra with 350K+ miles was ready to be retired. Bought a new 2022 Tundra, After 21,000 miles, I have had no issues, ride is fabulous, interior is spacious and gas mileage often approaches 20 mpg. I love the large touch screen and have no regrets. go Toyota!

Horrible service and customer service
I bought the truck 2022 brand new with platinum service and never knew that there will be a recall every month until I had the worst recall for engine and fuel tube that will require dropping your truck for 30 days. No loaners and Toyota will never bear any responsibility. Where is the customer service bureau and all media from this disaster of using and abusing customers after purchasing
