Never imagined I'd be driving a Toyota after driving Fords (Explorer, 3 F-150s and F-250) for almost 20 years. Though I've only had this Tundra for two weeks, I have to say that it far exceeds all expectations I ever had for a vehicle, much less a truck. Where has this truck been my whole life??? Go drive one - you have to experience the new Tundra for yourself.

I have never owned a more reliable truck. I owned this Tundra from 2008-to-2018 and never took it to the shop for anything more than general maintenance. My family of four is very comfortable in this truck. We pull a small camper and boat, and it tows like a champ. My only complaint is the gas milage (especially when towing) and rust setting in on the rear wheel-wells. Trading for a 3/4 quarter ton diesel, but I'm afraid I'll miss this Tundra. Thirteen year old son wants me to keep it for him. Wish I could afford to do that.

I luv my truck but I'm limited on distance before I run out of gas you would think Toyota would be smarter bigger truck bigger tank and I can't add an auxiliary tank because of emissions so I have to carry gas cans when in the mountains or desert especially pulling my toy hauler because that gas goes to my toys glad my son needs a truck I'm buying a F250

Truck has loads of power and a silky shifting 6 speed tranny. MPG has stayed around 16 overall with about 30% of my driving in the city. Truck steers and tracks exceptional and acceleration is effortless. Overall the ride quality is "good" not great. The rear suspension rides jittery and a bit stiff. It's what I expected from a truck with a 1500 lb. payload and 10,000 lb. towing capacity. I've really enjoyed the nav/JBL with bluetooth, and the backup camera is very helpful in a truck this size.
