New 2011 Sienna SE

2011 Toyota Sienna SE 8-Passenger 4dr Minivan (3.5L 6cyl 6A)

Just brought home the new 2011 Sienna SE days ago. Loving it so far! I traded in a 1999 Grand Caravan (loved that one also!). The Sienna ride is stiffer than my G. Caravan, but probably a good thing as I feel more in control of the vehicle, especially when cornering. I am disappointed that the rear quarter windows are not powered on the SE. I believe they are on the XLE and Limited. Also, there doesn't seem to be a compass feature on the trip computer display, had one on the old G. Caravan and miss it now. We wanted the "sportier" look of the SE though--it has to be the best looking van on the road today! So far, after 4 days, we are happy with our purchase.

The Best Minivan?

This is our first foray into the world of minivans and we couldn't be happier. The V6 engine is like butta, the seat are extra-comfy, and the added security of the AWD is priceless. This is the nicest vehicle that I've ever owned. We also paid about $3000 below MSRP. We also own an '07 Camry. That's 2 Toyotas after years of owning Hondas. We may never go back to any of Toyota's competitors.

We got this van because i am fed up with my Honda CR-V because it is too small, bumpy, worst seat and has horrible road noise. I get stressed out every time i drive within the first 30 minutes. My family went on a long drive to Vegas just last week and it took us 5 hours to get there but it only seemed like 2 hours for me. The van is very roomy and the seat is very ergonomically designed, very comfortable. I like the bluetooth capability, connected the iphone to receive and make calls, and even play your music files wirelessly. I think fuel economy is not bad considering a V6 engine and at constant 85 mph speed. Overall, it is a wise decision to choose the Sienna over the Odyssey.

Just can't get over the fact how good this van is despite bad publicity on Toyota vehicles. Test drove the 2011 Honda Odyssey, Chrysler Town and Country etc. They are no match. Excellent price! well worth it. I will buy Toyota's from now on! Heck with the media!
