Our 2004 Limited 4WD has been wonderful.
Sequoias are built on a Toyota truck frame, and drives like a truck. Only 165,000 miles after our 7,000 mile vacation in January seeing friends and family along the West Coast. Not any repairs of major concerned. We say to all, "can't get any better". Will tow our 5200 pound trailer with ease. Will carry most any group eight and under. Treat it like family and it will be there for you as family would for you. Just for info...I'm a Toyota retired Toyota MDT that opened up his own Toyota shop in 1988, Retiring at the end of 2015.

Wifes car and she loves it
This is wife's favorite vehicle. Downside, horrible roof vibrations if you open moonroof while driving. Rear end failed at 20k. Wheel bearings failed at 38k. Trunk latch stuck and dealer says warranty doesnt cover anything affected by rust, even though salesman said extended warranty covers "everything".

Sequoia outbeats Escalade
Far more better comfort and luxury than the Cadillac Escalade - saved $10,000
Love it!!!
I've owned Ford Explorer, Jeep Cherokee, Dodge Durango - this is my SECOND Sequoia, what does that say about the car? Ultimate in comfort; I've got two 6'5" family members, and the four of us (plus 2 large Rottweilers) are comfortable in this great car on a weekly 3-hour drive to New England ski areas! The power folding exterior mirrors are a godsend when getting on and off the ferry. . . if this car could get great gas mileage, it would be perfect (we get 17 city and 20 highway).
The Ultimate Chickenmobile
2002 model year. A fun truck to drive, especially on the highway. Surprisingly quiet for a huge vehicle. Plenty of space (roomier than the Land Cruiser). Comfortable ride. Slight growl on the motor but powerful. Good acceleration. Excellent braking. Decent size storage even with the 3rd row. Strong and quick cooling A/C.
