Used 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Consumer Reviews
2019 Rav4 Hybrid
Just love the way this car performs. It is roomy, stylish and handles very well. It makes driving easy and you don't feel you are carry around a crossover. It has great visibility and awesome safety features. It almost drives itself on lane assist. The hybrid model is the best, it is quiet, fuel efficient (get around 39 MPG) yet peppy. Cons: The speakers and the sound quality could have been better. My previous car mustang had a superior sound I think. Update: the mileage has dropped a bit, the fuel tank does not completely fill up. 10 gallons is what gets filed each time. Toyota needs to rectify this

Buyer beware.
We purchased our RAV4 Hybrid XSE in August of 2019. Our initial mileage was around 40 mpg but shortly after that the mileage dropped to the low 30's (around 33). If we are really light on the throttle we can get up to around 37. But that does not even begin to describe my frustration with this vehicle. To keep this short, we have 3 issues with our RAV4: 1. Unable to add more than 9 gallons of fuel to the tank when it is empty. 2. The settings on the radio will not hold. We have to set the weather settings to farenheit multiple times a day if we do not want to see the temperature in Celsius. 3. But by far the worst issue is a random noise from the dash fans that sounds like an old AM radio. We have reached out to our dealership and they took the car in once to look at all of the issues. They had us return to replace the dash fans to see if that would help (it did not). But now they will not return any of our communications. When you pay $40k for a vehicle you expect a little more than what you get with the RAV4 hybrid. Even small details like no lighting on the driver Window controls are a disappointment. We had very high hopes for this vehicle and Toyota, but both have been less than satisfactory at this point.

Gas Tank Issue - Gas Mileage Issue - Road Noise
Well, it looks good and overall build quality seemed nice at day of purchase, but that's about it. I also have the gas tank issue and can only put 9-10 gallons in the tank and Toyota will not do anything about it. Some people get great gas mileage, but even with a very light foot and flat terrain I can only get 32 mpg average. And then there is the road noise. I actually put $250 worth of Killmat (sound deadening) materials in the cargo area and doors panels to reduce noise, which worked great. Toyota missed the mark on this one.

Love the driver assist tech and apple car play. Not to mention the hybrid MPG. Great size for the vehicle and really should be moved up in class. Ride smooth, comfortable quiet ride.

Great fuel efficiency, functional, reliable SUV
Purchased the sky silver XSE, love the contrast from the silver to black. Had it for two weeks, the more I drive it the more I love it. The brake feels soft at first, but once you get used to it, it feels just fine. Definitely a car that I will keep for a long time.
