Used 2019 Toyota RAV4 Hybrid Consumer Reviews
Gas Tank Issue - Gas Mileage Issue - Road Noise
Well, it looks good and overall build quality seemed nice at day of purchase, but that's about it. I also have the gas tank issue and can only put 9-10 gallons in the tank and Toyota will not do anything about it. Some people get great gas mileage, but even with a very light foot and flat terrain I can only get 32 mpg average. And then there is the road noise. I actually put $250 worth of Killmat (sound deadening) materials in the cargo area and doors panels to reduce noise, which worked great. Toyota missed the mark on this one.
Great car so far
The RAV4 hybrid replaces a great Honda Cr-v, 20yrs and 200,000 miles without any problems, so my expectations are high. So far the hybrid has more then met them.

Love it after 2 1/2 weeks, no fuel filling issues
Bought my XSE in silver, love the color combo, it gets lots of looks, and thumbs up. Smooth, easy to get around traffic, great safety features. Lane control a little obtrusive, I find myself turning it off, even after lowering the sensitivity. I haven’t experienced the issue of not being able to fill the tank, unlike other drivers. I asked my salesman who was delivering the vehicle, who told me that he hasn’t had anyone complain about it, so it may have been solved, or isolated to a few vehicles. So far, so good!

Great car so far; hybrid>non-hybrid RAV
While I love saving money on gas, the performance on the hybrid is leagues ahead of the non-hybrid RAV4. Don't waste your money on the regular RAV unless you really like RAVs and for some reason have quells about driving a hybrid. It feels better, has more kick in the acceleration. Disclaimer: I have an iphone and Apple Car Play is great. I honestly would wait for 2020 if you don't use Apple products because you are missing out on a ton of functionality. What others say is accurate about the gas tank being around 10 gallons. I get about 400 miles to the tank driving in ECO mode around town with the occasional sport mode passing of an old, hunched over handicapped driver. I have black softex in mine and the seats never really get that hot, however the windows on the car make the thing act like a greenhouse. You just feel the sun pounding through the windshield in the hot summer. The AC gets cool quickly but it takes a while for the whole car to cool (if it completely cools at all) because it's fighting the sun. Kind of looking forward to the wintertime to see if it helps with heating the car.
