Better Looks, cramped inside
2023 AWD, drives nice, looks great but inside is smaller/tighter than my 2007 Prius. No room in the back seat as compared to my 2007. I’m not tall but I kept hitting my head on the door frame getting in/out. If you’re 5’10” or taller, you’ll have issues. I had high hopes for an AWD, but was disappointed and did not buy it. Give us more head room Toyota.

Toyota lost this customer
I've had the 2023 Prius LE for 4 days, and it is likely the last Toyota that I'll buy. Honda's in the past, but since then a Camry, two 4Runners and a 2010 Prius. Loved them all. This new Prius is the first time I've had buyer's remorse ... I really dislike the car. It began after we signed and paid at pick up at the dealer. We were handed one key fob and told that because of chip shortages, we would get another fob in a few months. Going online I read that we will be lucky to get another fob this summer. So my wife and I share a key fob and hope like heck that we don't lose it. Without it there is no way to start or drive the car. The Toyota app will lock/unlock the doors and start the car, but only when you are not in the car - it is not a digital key and does not function as a key. Do yourself a favor and read the online app reviews, the app is unreliable, people hate it and it costs $7/month. Toyota, you can do better! At the very least the dealers should tell people that the car will be delivered with only one fob. I take some responsibility for the following complaints - I bought this Prius sight-unseen. A big mistake. Yes, it looks nice, BUT ... it sits lower than my previous Prius, making it harder to get into. I typically bump my head when getting into the car (I'm 5' 11"). The backseat appears smaller (and again, less headroom) and the cargo area also smaller. As others have noted, the display is too cluttered and not intuitive. Also be aware that there is no built-in GPS, you must use your smartphone to use any maps on the display. My last 4Runner had gps built-on...why the step backwards?! My dealer does not have a return policy, I would return it today if I could get my 2010 back. As it is, maybe I'll drive it for a few months and sell it.

Gorgeous vehicle that drives great.
Super impressive vehicle. Rides, handles and accelerates great with phenomenal efficiency. Too bad it doesn't fit my 6'2" long waisted son as well as his last 3 Priuses or it would have been his. Also, it was so fast and quiet, he was afraid he would get speeding tickets.

Love the handling
The 2023 Prius Limited rides like a sports car. Great lane changing, acceleration, turn radius and braking. I passed a semi going 100 mph on the freeway and felt no wind resistance. Problem is the car is super noisy. From wind air when the windows are open small amount or large and the acceleration and engine noise. No spare tire is creepy but I found one online that is a fit and can store it in the trunk and secure it with the net but not below where there is a strange storage configuration of plastic foam. Worthless. Not having heated and folding outside mirrors was a disappointment in 2023 but corrected in 2024. Seats are uncomfortable because of the fan cooling function making the seat hard. The sound system is the worst premium I've ever heard. No matter how the sound is balanced it is always tinny and does not fill the interior space. My dealer charged $3500 over MSRP because they said it was in high demand and I don't know if others are still doing that. Mileage is great. Tech not intuitive but YouTube can walk you through anything! Enjoy if you are under 6'2"! It really is a fun car to drive.
