Super Spyder
This sporty little roadster packs a boatload of fun into a small, inexpensive package. You'll get a lot of looks, too. The car sprints from a stop to 60mph in 6.6 seconds (or faster, once you get good), handles like a true racecar, stops quicker than any car less than $50,000, and has the reliability and ease of maintenance of a Toyota.
More fun than you deserve
What a fun car to drive. Hugs the road like nothing I've ever driven before. Fast little sucker with a great 5 speed sport shift. Took only a few times to get used to the shifting and once you do, you'll never go back to manual. Stereo /CD/Tape player is more than adequate with the to down. Build quality and Paint finish are superb!
The Editors' got it wrong
I have had my spyder since 27/7/2001, I have not had a single problem with it, I like it so much, I bought a new 2003 model. All the mistakes, which are few, have been cleaned up in the new model.
My silver MR2
I looked at the S2000 before buying my MR2. I couldnt see spending almost $8000 more for a power top and cruise control (yeah, and more hp). I first looked at this car because of friend's recommendations. This is SO much fun to drive and you get LOTS of looks!
The "perfect" sports car
What can you say about this car other than it reall is a grand slam home run. It is a fast, extremely agile, well built, reliable sports car that is not only inexpensive, but also rare (i.e. not found in every parking lot out there). The looks from other people when driving this car (whether they're car buffs or not) is astounding. Some admirers ignore Porsches and BMW's to inquire about my car. Plus, the resale value is extremely high. The Spyder is about delivering a highly satisfying driving experience on a budget. In this area, it truly delivers!
