Proven over 50,000 miles

The most fun car we've ever owned. It's a quick and nimble ride, excellent in the SoCal canyons and amid the SUVs on the freeways. With the car so short and the wheelbase so long, it's easy to park in in otherwise impossible spots, a real plus at the beach. The best of all worlds, it's efficient around the city, romantic on a date, and fun on the open road.

As a good general all around sports car it is great, at the top end of the lower priced affordable cars. Like it a bit better than my Miata. Read wheel rear engine drive makes the car a unique handler. Front end might be a bit too like but as long as you know it not a real issue. Easier on long trips as the Miata, but not as good a my 350Z. Best description! fun.

Why Grow Up?

This car has so much going for it that it's spooky. It's great fun to drive at very little cost, it's as reliable as any other Toyota, and it converts from sunworship to a very tightly covered, whistle free closed car in about about 5 seconds. I love it, but my wife does too, so I don't get to drive it often enough. My son is already planning on taking it to college in 8 more years. Bravo to Toyota for executing a vision of a non-mainstream, just-for-the-fun- of-it roadster!

I've never been enamored of any vehicle as I am with this one. When i drive this car, I have a smile on my face. Everyone looks at me in this car and the handling is unbelievable. It's fast, it's great looking, it handles curves beautifully. I love driving the hills at night with the top down. This is pure, unadulterated pleasure.

Like the Beach Boys said - FUN, FUN, FUN. Get up and go, it's got, lot of cargo space - not. Great second car for the work commute or the weekend crusing. A looker too, turns heads wherever you go. Must ride with top down, no wind with windows up so it's pleasant. 30 mpg so you can fight off the high fuel prices. Top is very easy to put up and down.
