Perfect Midsize SUV!
This Highlander is an excellent choice for a moderately priced midsize suv. The maintenance has been minimal and I am pleased with how it is holding up. Great car for short and long trips with excellent comfort and convenience.

Fantastic
Purchased with 60k miles, now has 195k. Great quality, as you would expect from a Toyota. If you’re like me and not a fan of the new turbo garbage, the 3.5 is a great motor. Plenty of power, very reliable. I’ve replaced cv axles (I’d say because I pull a 5x12 enclosed trailer occasionally) and a radiator (pin hole from a rock) in a 195k miles. Only real issues is the control piece for drivers seat has broken off and kind of hangs there, the radio occasionally resets itself, and the drivers sun visor won’t stay up on its own anymore. This is all minor stuff, drivetrain still solid. Great suv, May see if I can get 300k out of it!

Great vehicle!
We’ve had our Highlander XLE since it had 60k miles on it, now has 188k. Starts every day, driven daily with no issues. At 120k the radiator got a small pinhole in it and at 187k new cv axles. I’ve been pulling a 6x12 enclosed trailer so the cv axles are no surprise. Little things like the drivers sun visor and plastic on side of drivers seat breaking are common but nothing major on the drivetrain. Our mechanic says he has customers with over 300k on their Highlander’s and they still keep running! I feel the 3.5 is a well proven motor and now unfortunately they are being replaced with a turbo-4cyl. Fuel mileage is around 25-26mpg and I’ll take that with the reliability of Toyota. Hope this review helps anyone looking at one of these vehicles.

Nice SUV
I bought in April 2014. Nice car, but has 2 problem with interior: 1) Left rear view mirror blocking a view when you perform left turn 2) When driver's seat is up, then difficult to get in car to sit (right knee cannot fit between steering wheel and seat). Bad experience with dealership: I bought in April 28, 2014. Six months later car did not start. I discover that battery on my car was replaced in dealership by bad battery during a service. How did I discover that? Date on manufacture battery was May 2, 2014 (4 days later I bought a car). Nice job dealership. After that I do not bring my car to any mechanic. I do services myself.
