I got three words - It’s Still Better

Oh how the critics can be so shortsighted. Yes my 23 year old drop top 5 speed manual still runs like a champ with 172K on it. The styling is far superior to most cars now. Based on the offers I am getting the car is appreciating in value. It’s not a sports car, its a Corolla on a different body with a soft top with one of the most solid engines ever built. Even as a convertible it still big enough to be daily driver with backseats and a real trunk. It turns heads with the top down in 2021 because it styled right. Best part is you can get them for under $4K and insurance is dirt cheap and parts are cheap and available but it so reliable you may not need them. It’s one of the best value used cars in the world. They cost more back in the day because they were built better.

I love my car. It is fun to drive, has great pick up, handles well. I have no problems on busy freeways. It is very comfortable to take on long trips, as long as there are not more than 2 people.

Fun, reliable, sporty

After four years, this car has never had a mechanical problem of any kind. Totally reliable! Fuel economy is good - about 30 highway, 25 city. Handling is superb, braking excellent, could use about 20 more horsepower, but is still quick with the 5 speed manual transmission Reasonably comfortable, even with sport suspension. A bit more tire noise than I would prefer, but that's the only hangup.

My daughter has been driving this vehicle for over 5 years and it has been the best vehicle I've ever owned. The performance has been excellent, the maintenance very low and the overall cost of driving exceptional. The styling of the 97 Celica is classic and even after 9 years the body and paint are in excellent condition. It runs like a jewel and I believe it will continue to give us great service well beyond 150,000 miles. A great car!

This is a first-rate car. I can be confident that it will have the necessary power when I need it. It is very reliable - I've had it over 4 years with no problems at all. The sporty design is very classy - interior and exterior. It looks like a much more expensive car than it is. Also, excellent resale value.
