Happy Purchase as of 4/20 with my LE

WOW, I can’t even believe the amount of negative owner reviews for this generation Camry (2015-17). Note I have read/skimmed all of them for the 15 to 17 model years. Common complaints are the drivers seat, and wind noise, and maybe less so, sound quality from the stereo. Many say they were happy with a previous gen camry, but not happy with this one, and “never again”. I’m happy! I find the drivers seat to be quite comfortable, but note, I haven’t driven longer than an hour so far. Wind noise seems good (quiet) to me. Not luxury car quiet, but the same or better than my wife’s 16 Altima. The Altima seems slightly faster in acceleration by a little, but the two are close and the Camry is fine. Ride is good around town and is extra good at hi-way speeds. Ride is a nice upgrade from the 2010 corolla that this car replaced. MPG for me so far (put on 1000 miles) is at 30-32 mpg on my country roads in upstate NY. About the same as the corolla. I do have one disappointment that I didn’t catch when test driving, that would indeed be the for-mentioned radio sound quality. It’s bad, frankly surprisingly bad for this day and age. Also, radio reception is poor. On the plus side, the radio/entune system has a nice layout and features. No car is perfect, at least in my price range, but overall I would gladly do it again. I like it slightly better than the Altima in the household, mostly because of no CVT transmission. Note I purchased a certified Camry that had 14k, paid $16,700.

I absolutely love my 2017 Toyota Camry. Its roomy, has enough power for me and the gas mileage is great. Averages 32 mpg around town.
