Please address blind spots
There are unavoidable blind spots in the back. It is very difficult to safely change lanes and see oncoming cars. Please also address the back windows to be opened independently on each passenger side. It is scary to drive and to teach a young driver in this car.,...
Not as nice as you'd expect
You'd expect more from Toyota. After a month check engine light came on and the dealer determined that cylinder 3 misfires (it had erratic idling and would not accelerate properly). All they did was reset the computer. 2 weeks after they did it, check engine light came on again. Feels like the same problem. The car has 1400 miles on it. Also the door does not always close right away. This is due to the fact that there is no frame around the glass. Also even when it does close, there is excessive noise from the wind when driving at 50 mph. You have to pull the window down and then close it again for the wind to go away. Taking it to the dealer again tomorrow...

Happy owner
The Solara is everything I hoped for. It has a smooth ride with great acceleration and handling. The interior is very comfortable and the sound system is fantastic.
Problems
i have had my car almost for 5 years and in the three months i have had to take it because of the engine light coming on. 400.00 for a new sensor and right now waiting to see what s wrong this time. Toyotas used to last for 150,000 miles or more but this is crazy my car is maintenanced regularly and this is what i get. never never again will i purchase a Toyota
