Used 2021 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Earlier version better
We had a 2005 Avalon 11 years and 465,000 miles on it. From what I've read, the lower headroom would be tough since I'm 6'6". A review of the '05 model ended with, "Detroit, this is the car you should be building." I don't like the new front end with the lower grill.
PERFECT!
The color, ride and sound of the music is smooth.

Flawless Avalon Limited model
This car is very well designed, quite comfortable and has every upgrade imaginable. It compares to much more expensive luxury cars, for less money.
Nice ride...hideous grill
This is a vast improvement in the "sports ride" experiment that some dope at Toyota figured they would try, beginning in 2013. The damn things rode like a truck, alienating the demographic that brought them to the party. This one is a much better ride...but it looks like a freaking whale shark!! Get a clue...the recent Toyota lineup is butt ugly.

New Toyota sedans sit too low
When you run up on a piece of tire tread that you could not see in time to avoid ( e.g. SUV in front of you, or coming around a curve, etc. ) and find that it has knocked a piece off your car ( and NO not going that fast, another reason not to buy Toyotas low slung sedans!
This Car Rocks!

Excellent vehicle
The Avalon is an amazing vehicle. I will have this car for a very long time. Got a great deal, and Edmunds helped with negotiating a deal.

2021 Toyota Avalon
Great car
Not a Lexus!
When I had to get a new vehicle, I could no longer afford the Lexus LS I was used to driving. I chose the Toyota Avalon thinking that it made Lexus and it might be my best best. I ended up selling my Avalon 19 months later though because it just didn't work for me ergonomically. I'm tall and was unable to rest my right arm on the center console because it was too low. In addition, I did not find the seat comfortable after about 20 minutes of driving. Finally, at my age (65), I found it increasingly more difficult to push myself up and out of the Avalon because my hip is a bit of a problem. The technology was good, which is what my older Lexus was lacking. It had decent pick-up as well when needing to change lanes on the freeway. Styling was nice as well. It just didn't work for me, but could be great for others.
