Bought my Avalon used two months ago with 50,000 miles on it...so far have already put 3,000 miles on it. Love the mixture of power and performance for a car like this. Really surprised. Also really surprised at the excellent fuel economy (averaging 31.4 mpg). Things I’m not crazy about — Interior is “creeky”. Lots of plastic creeks. Shiny metal plastic trim looks cheap. Radio is a DISASTER in terms of dropping calls - read the reviews, it’s a Toyota embarrassment. It’s frustrating. Seats aren’t very comfortable and the steering wheel just looks weird...it’s bulky, it’s shaped funny, it’s not attractive. I know that sounds weird but it’s true. Other than that I love it, I really do. Kind of “boring looking”, probably because mine is silver, but I don’t mind that. Oh, and I get made fun of because it’s an “old person car”, but it doesn’t drive like one. Love how HUGE this thing is inside. And quite honestly this may be the easiest car you’ll ever drove. It’s just so easy to drive - there’s no learning curve - it just feels the right size, the right steering effort, brake effort, power and handling. It’s really a driver’s car.

The 4th generation 2012 -16 Avalons has the ride comfort of a bouncing ping pong ball. Just terrible...most large sedans also have re engineered suspensions to give a much stiffer ride but Avalon wins the award for having the ride and seat comfort of a hay wagon. Avoid it like the plague if you are looking for a comfortable large size sedan.

This car is for small people, very uncomfortable, compared to 2006 toyota avalon xle, electrical compartment on the left side of the driver side won't let you spread out left feet. Seat is hard.

The navigation 'GPS" is useless. I ended up buying a stand alone GPS
