Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Love it!
I really love this car. It is affordable luxury...a pleasure to drive. The only thing I could complain about is the day after a long trip I washed my car and (barely noticeable) yellow bug guts stained the bumper. The dealership said that just happens and if they repainted, it would just hapen again. I would think paint finishes today would not have that problem, so I was disappointed to say the least in product and response. Also, occasionally when the automatic transmission is shifting down it "jumps". The dealership said the car's computer would work it out within 10k miles...not impressed again by the response I got, as it was getting worse at 8k miles. But, it's still my dream car.
Cadillac to Toyota--Was I nuts?
This is my first Toyota. I gave considerable thought in the purchase of this vehicle after 20 years as a Cadillac owner. So far my Avalon Limited is 100% perfect. If it meets it reputation as a solid, dependable and fun car it won't be my last, I hope. My wife especially likes the Smart Key and not having to look for the key in her purse. I believe she would rather drive this Toyota than her Corvette-- and that is saying a LOT! The GPS takes a lot of practice and study, but once you figure it out it is very good. It must have been designed by some foreigner. It's the little things that impress me the most like puddle lamps, reclining rear seats & heated and cooled seat
A lot of car for the money
Fun to drive and seems so far to be reliable. Many favorable comments from friends pertaining to roominess and comfort. We wanted a car that would be as good as our '93 Grand Marquis. I believe we have found it.
First Toyota
I'm very impressed with the value, comfort and performance, it's in a nutshell a lotta bang for the bucks!
Avalon Limited
The Avalon Limited is the best kept secret Toyota has. It is truly deserving of its flagship position. Lexus quality abounds everywhere except with the medallion.
