Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Everything you need...
This car has everything you need, and not much you don't. It is smooth, quiet, responsive, and has the little extras that make it a pleasure to drive. As with any car, you can find faults, but Toyota hit its mark integrating the elements of an expensive lexus in a reasonably priced package. Drivers will need to take a little time to learn the navigation system and make the adjustments for seats, lights, etc., but after that, it's a quiet comfortable ride in a well- handling car with power when you need it.
My new Toyota XLS
This is my first Toyota. All my previous auto were Oldsmobiles, but since they have dropped family sedans I was searching for a quality replacement. I have found it!. This car exceeds my every wish for a family car. Safety of passengers is outstanding. Quality of workmanship is apparent throughout the vehicle. Ease of operation from the drivers side with all the essential controls readily available, and easy to find. Truly a great car.

As good as my 2000 XLS?
It is a great large sedan and I love the space! My 2000 XLS had front seat adjustment memory controls which are missing on my new 2006 model. Wonder why they cut this out for '06? I liked those and would love to have them now. All in all, this car is a winner!
Avalon is a bargain
My Avalon has all the amenities of my Lexus 430 that I leased. This is not a "sexy" car but a workhorse. It has every gadget in town and 23MPG on highway and 19MPG city winter driving on regular gas.
Sun visors
I love this car. There are two things I would like changed, mirrors that retract and an extension on the sunvisor to use on the drivers door side. The car runs great, the ride is very comfortable, and the gas mileage is great considering its size and power. The pickup is unbelievable.
