Used 2006 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Lexus quality @ Toyota price
Beautiful car. Handles great. Top of the line. Can't think of anything that could be added to make driving more pleasurable.
I'm Happy - I Think
Overall experience has been positive. It's a comfortable car to drive and quite luxurious compared to my old Camry - which was a great car. Gas mileage is not quite what I had expected but I live in hilly terrain so that may be a factor. I like the interior and exterior styling and the room in the car. The car has a rattle coming from a seat belt assembly and is not as tight as I would have expected. Power is great but transmission surges easliy and shifting of transmission is somewhat crazy at times.
A Bentley couldn't make me more proud
We took possession of our Avalon LXS on 11/30/05. We have always owned Buicks but did not care for the exterior look of their new cars. We saw an 05 Avalon in a parking lot and both the exterior and interior blew us away and we knew this would be our next new car. We absolutely love this car and if we had any criticism it would be that the ride is not as smooth as my 1997 Buick Century.
Good Car
Very small quality problems corrected by the dealer, otherwise well built. Cabin wind noise louder than expected at highway speeds. Ride smooth with plenty of power. A classic American highway cruiser.
Best Out There For The Money
I think this car is fantastic. I never thought I would own an Avalon, as I like really big luxury cars. This has met all my expectations. One thing I do not like is on the less expensive touring model you get HID headlamps, on the more expensive XLS, you dont! What were they thinking, for this price range almost $37,000 loaded how can you not give HID bulbs!
