Used 2000 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Comfortable and Reliable
Never had a problem since I bought the car in 2000. Very comfortable and quiet. Good acceleration and mediocre brakes. Less than satisfactory gas mileage in city driving. Car rattles unlike near luxury car when driving over uneven surface. Suspension could be a little stiffer. Sound system could be a little better.
A Great Driving Car
The Avalon is an extremely quiet, great riding & driving car. It's comfortable, has good accelleration, and handles nicely in traffic. The interior is clean with enough techie features to give it the upscale feel of its Lexus siblings. Plenty of headroom and foot room, even for tall people, and even though I've never sat in the back I'm told it's very roomy even behind the driver with the seat all the way back. It's at the top of my list for my next new car.

Nice car
I bought this car in January of 2016 after I had issues with my 2002 Kia Rio the had 250,000 miles so after I had enough paying repairs for the car and then the transmission broke but I can put all that blame on me cuz I really did not do maintenance so I learned it the hard way of thinking my transmission was never going to break so back on the Toyota I was for a car that was in mint I did not what it was i was just looking for a cheap car so I end up going to a used car dealership I found the Toyota and a test drove it drove really and the engine really quiet and it only had 55,000 miles which I thought was pretty low for a 16 year old it was non smoker it still smelled like a brand new car and it was fully loaded it had the sunroof and leather and I never had problems with it but in march of 2018 I got in a accident cuz some drunk driver ran a stop sign and side swiped causing my car to spin out so my car deemed as a total loss even tho my car did not have bad damage but I understand it was totaled because it was old but if the accident did not happen I’m sure I would had have it today so my replacement car was 2010 Corolla me but the paint was awful and headlight assembly’s were cheap they would have to get replaced twice I kept that car for 4 years then got a 2022 Kia Rio lx in aurora black and just that the Kia’s cvt drives better than the bare bones 4 speed automatic in the Corolla
