Used 1995 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
the best one
A few yrs. back I bought an Avalon and it has never let me down. I travel a lot and it doesn't skip a beat. The acceleration is still strong. I have only waxed it once and it still gets attention. I recommend this car to everyone who needs a car for the highway with lots of room and good mileage.
It Just Works.
Bought this from a friend with 95,000 miles on the odometer. It has been the most reliable car I've ever owned. Aside from standard service, it has needed only an alternator. Everything has continued to work without much attention. Even the climate control continues to maintain its set temperature. The leather upholstery shows very little wear, and the rest of the interior shows only slight fading. The engine is strong and quick. The Avalon is agile for such a big car. Economy on the highway is 22 mph. City runs about 15 mpg. Even the finish looks good when waxed. No one suspects it is a 15 year old car.

1995 Toyota Avalon
Excellent car, mixes luxury with sportiness in a four door, the best I have owned to date (out of 7 vehicles). Replaced timing belt at 99,000 miles (about $400.) Replaced transmission at 150,000 miles (my fault ...I never had it serviced!, $1,800.). Engine is still strong.
Lexus for half the price.
Bought it used with 55000 miles. Best quality car I have owned. Runs flawlessly. Ample power and passing ability. Gets over 29 mpg on long trips at 80+mph and sea-level to over 8,000+ mountains. Comfortable, great leg room, quiet. Feel refreshed after 8 hours behind the wheel. Tons of trunk space. Exterior styling a bit sedate, but cabin is a joy.
Avalon, the best car to own!
This is the best car I have ever owned. it's reliable, economic and handles the road very well.
