Used 1995 Toyota Avalon Consumer Reviews
Lexus Quality for Fewer Dollars
I purchased my 1995 Avalon XLS after comparing it to late model Camrys. The size, build quality, features, and performance made this car stand out from the typical Accords and Camrys. It handles well and rides very comfortably. The V-6 engines is very smooth and quiet.
Adequate to Good car but not Great
Have had this car for 3 years and bought it with 85,000 miles on it and its now at 135k. It drives like a dream on smooth roads but bottoms too early on bumps and potholes. It corners and stops well, but I have had only 12 MPG in the city. I may check into that with mechanics. I am 6 foot 4 and its a full size vehicle with good leg room. Trunk is pretty large, and the interior buttons and functions are easy to use.

Lucky ME!
I lucked into this car for 5k. It has high miles but drives near new. One owner babied this beauty. My last car was a 90 Chrysler (ick!) LeBaron with a falling headliner and an oil & fuel leak!!! My Avalon is heaven pure and simple.
1995 Toyota Avalon XLS
As an original owner, I know the car to be reliable and a great performer. I had no major problems with it in 8 years/over 100,000 miles.
216,963 and still running!
Great car! Reliable! I bought it with 133,000 miles and with the same engine and everything, it has 216,963 on it. Just keep getting oil changes every 3,000 miles and your set. The transmission didn't have any mess in it when I changed the filters. Perfectly clean!
