I look at it out the window all day....
The looks of this vehicle first attracted me, but the test drive SOLD me! Warning - do not test drive this vehicle unless you have the money to purchase...! (Hint - if you are planning to purchase a Yukon - do NOT test drive the 4Runner....you will be disappointed!!!
2003 4Runner SR5 V8
First "foreign car" in 25 years. One month of ownership, 1100 miles: Overall an excellent design. Powerful, nimble and fun to drive. Ample cargo capacity contrary to what you may have heard or read. Behaves predictably and sure-footed off-road. Surprisingly quiet and smooth ride.

Amazing New Ride
I just picked up my new Limited V6 4Runner 4x4 and love it! I owned the previous model 4Runner and the difference is amazing. I also have had a Sequoia which I traded in for this new truck. The new 4Runner rides like a dream. Much softer ride than the previous model. The V6 is powerful enough to make the car quick off the line and better gas mileage than the V8. I love this car!
never thought i'd have another SUV
i needed a winter car, something with AWD or FT4WD. i had a very bad experience with reliability of an audi and volvo (which i was replacing), so those were out. subarus were too small inside. i drove the 4runner after testing a honda pilot and acura mdx. i was impressed by the solidity of build, acceleration (it's better than edmunds lets on) and the highway ride.
