Used 2002 Toyota 4Runner SUV Consumer Reviews
Toyota 4_Runner
First 10 months with 2002 4-Runner have been exceptional. Fuel mileage on long trips averages at 20.5 mpg travelling at 70-75 mph (where speed limits and conditions permit). Reliability has been perfect in the first 10,000 miles.
Not Much to Improve
I just bought my 2002 SR5 2WD two weeks ago and I really dig it! Despite all of the belly-aching over the lack of horsepower by many, it really is not too bad. It's much faster than the Mitsu Montero Sport (3.5 liter - 200 HP) that I test drove (I can walk faster - on my hands)! I like the interior layout and I love the exterior. It's a bit dated, but still a "looker" nonetheless. I'm hoping the new 4Runner looks like a Highlander, so I won't be tempted to trade in.

2002 4Runner Last Of The Beautiful Style
The truck is nice very nice. I've had it for almost 3 months now and I'm happy with it. My friends love it, my parents love it, people who I don't even know love it. It seems like everyone likes this SUV. At almost 4000 miles on it, it still has the new car smell. It rides great, sounds great and just is a great all around SUV. I had an 89 Camry before this and this was a great little car and I expect this new Toyota to be a great car as well. We'll see as the months and years go by how it turns out.
The Best
great car and fun to drive
Best car I have ever owned
I enjoy driving it every day. The best vehicle I ever owned. Toyota builds it right. SUV shouldn't ride like a car. This vehicle can go off road or not. People that gripe about the ride should buy a car, it is setup to do it all
