Love it
I have owned a M3 LT for over two months and it is my first EV. I now volunteer to do all the grocery shopping and all my wife’s errands just so I can drive it. The Acceleration is exhilarating. I keep it in Chill Mode unless I am on the interstate. The audio system is outstanding. The seats and driving adjustments provide a lot of comfort. Charging with a home Charge Point charger is not slow pulling 48 amps on a 60 amp circuit. Looking forward to going on a long road trip.

Couldn't wait to get rid of it
Major QC issues. Inside covered with dust when delivered. Did not come aligned correctly, suspension made bad or loose spring noises. Steering wheel creaks, not sturdy. Lots of interior rattles. Came on cheap not all season tires. FSD is a total joke on country roads. Tons of crazy panel gaps. Ambient LED lighting was fading in patches around the car within a few months. Interior materials not durable at all. The center armrest creaks if you use it! I also could not make do with 50% range loss in new england winter. The heat pump really does nothing for you at 14 F or below. Yes it is a fast car, but there are a load of problems that come with it. At a loss, I switched back to a toyota and much happier now.

Outstanding value
this highland Model 3 AWD has become my go to. FSD and all of the integrated tech makes driving less of a hassle for sure. Much improved versus the older version.

Grey Ghost
06/12/25 Final review: enjoyed this vehicle while we owned it with the exception of a few key things. First, despite taking the car to the Tesla Service Center in Fresno a few times, they were unable to eliminate a few squeaks and rattles from the drivers seat and steering column. We were told that was all “normal behavior.” I’m sorry a $50K car shouldn’t be making noises like that. Other than quality was solid, paint in the front bumper is very soft. Despite taking upmost care in maintaining the paint it still had numerous paint chips. Second, while the vehicle is pretty efficient, the constant need to charge and fluctuating cost of superchargers (peak times) is kind of petty. I know gas prices go up and down. But when the goal is encourage people to seek alternative fueled vehicles consumers shouldn’t be penalized with almost $60 cent per kw rates. I was spending almost the same to fill up the battery to 80% daily as I was filling my V8 6.2L Silverado High Country with gas for the week. I had no access to a charger at home and had to rely on public charging. I traded the vehicle in for a 2025 Camry XSE Hybrid and couldn’t be happier. Miss the Tesla performance and quietness of the car. But don’t miss the need to constantly charge at the superchargers. Have been very impressed with the vehicle so far, just took delivery of a 2024 Performance Model 3 and have never owned a Tesla vehicle before. I come from traditional ICE vehicles, Camrys, Accords, MDX, Corollas, Silverados, and Mustangs. Finally took the plunge into the EV world, very impressed with the build quality, quietness, solidity, and even refinement of this Highland refresh model 3. Only 200 miles so far, time will tell after a few thousand miles charging, highway commute travel will treat this beast. But it is a tame as long as you are smooth on throttle. Cheers to the Grey Ghost!
