2021 Subaru Crosstrek Limited 4dr SUV AWD (2.5L 4cyl CVT)

I really wanted to buy this car. Test drove a Limited model with the 2.5 engine. Car rides really nice and smooth. But, the road and wind noise is excessive. The loud noise from the wind and tires plus the engine killed the deal for me.

Jumped on the bandwagon without doing my homework

Bought my car brand new at the end of July 2021. Since then, the seats have started to fade, and so has the black plastic molding around the doors on the exterior. Car is not parked in direct sunlight, and I’m the only one that occupies the cabin, so it’s not like I have kids and pets in there causing premature wear. Transmission making a whining noise which is amplified if the radio is off; the transmission also is a bit “jerky” if you have to step on the gas to merge. Steering wheel leather wrap starting to develop wrinkles, and there is a strange clunking noise coming from the rear when shifting from reverse to drive. Car has 3972 miles, and this is absolutely unacceptable. Spend an additional $5000 and get a Toyota or something else, you’ll make up for the additional cost with less aggravation and fewer headaches.

the car has so many issues that i regret buying it every single day: 1) very weak engine 2) random jerks at low speeds 3) usb works on and off 4) weird noises and rattles everywhere in the car 5) fuel consumption is terrible 6) subaru service is the worst and they will constantly downplay your complaints

This makes my 2nd Subaru and I will probably own this brand regardless of model from now on. I've owned it for a while now with no problems, my opinion of Subaru has not changed.
