Used 2005 Scion xB Consumer Reviews
What A Fun Car To Own
I have owned my XB for 2 weeks and it is absolutely a fun car to drive and own.I'm 62 years old and this has been a great experience. This car is geared toward the younger generation, but I'm here to tell you this car makes you feel young. Every day that I drive it some one always asks what is it? Who makes it? I love this car.
The Bomb
I originally bought this car for my 15 year old son. I figured I would drive it for the next year until he turns 16. I felt it was a good car to learn to drive. After driving it for the last 3 months, he is on his own. There is no way I am parting with my X/B. Sorry, I love this car.

Excellent car
This is a great little car. You only need to step inside to see why it's such a good deal for $15k - it's huge inside. Being a box makes it very space efficient; awkwardly tall friends will appreciate the rear leg and head room. However, the car is still narrow and short enough that it's easy to park anywhere, and the sitting position is surprisingly high. Handling and road noise are decent considering it's a box with wheels, and the standard traction and stability control do wonderfully in bad weather. A bigger engine would be nice at times, but it usually feels plenty peppy and gets great gas milage. Toyota quality for this price makes this car hard to resist.
Good for the price
The 2005 Scion xB is easy and fun to drive in traffic and very responsive. It is very easy to park in tight places. It does lack in power on the freeways and the gas mileage drops off at higher speeds, but I am still able to maintain 26 mpg or better at 75 mph. I get over 30 mpg at slower speeds. The ride is stiff and uncomfortable for long hauls. This car is very good in cities and short drives. The front bumper is only 5" off the ground so watch those curb blocks.
Great Car - Must Buy
I love my scion xb it is so fun to customize and drive.
