I love my Scion. I have a bad back, and am glad I can get in and out easily. There is enough room for my scooter. I like the looks, and comments we get from people. It is just a great vehicle. Even our passengers like the back seat and ride.

Fun To Drive

My husband and I were actually out looking for minivans when the Scion caught his eye. Initially, I thought "No way!" but as soon as I sat in it and test drove it, the decision was made. This is a great second car for us. The kids love to drive in it and now never want to get into Daddy's Avalon. There is tons of room, even with 2 car seats in the back and the visibility is awesome. The car feels so big when you are driving it, that I sometimes forget what I am driving until I see the stares from the people around me. Everywhere we go people comment on what a neat car we have. We love it!

THE ONLY REASON I GOT THIS CAR IS TO SAVE ON GAS. I DID THE RIGHT THING. MY EXPEDITION ONLY GOT 9 MPG, BUT MY XB GETS 33 WHAT A SWITCH. MOST TIME I CAN'T EVEN REMEMBER WHEN I WAS AT THE GAS STATION LAST, AND ONLY $18.00 PER FILL UP. I HAD TO ADD SOME SUBS FOR THE SYSTEM. THIS THING IS SO FUN TO DRIVE, I SOME TIME CATCH MYSELF SPEEDING. LOVE MY XB.

Love the car - drives great, looks great! Roomier than my big SUV - easier to drive, load and park. Turns plenty of heads too! Will be buying another one for my son - but from another dealership - unless they can pull it together real fast - before legal action.

I got an extra $400.00 for being a recent college grad. I was driving a full size GMC P/U 8 cylinder and it was big & gommy to drive. Thscion xB is so much fun to drive & the mileage is awesome. I did my first test drive in the xb with a automatic but it was a little sluggish so I ordered a manual tranny. the standard tranny is much more peppy. The shifting is still a little stiff but I am sure it will be better after I put some miles on it.This car is affordable & loaded with cool standard features.

We are a family of four and this car has been perfect. More than enough room for all of us and the groceries, too. It's not too big and not too small and was by far 100 times better than anything else in our price range. It's so affordable, easy to drive, comfortable and has so many awesome standard features. We also like that it's fun and unique. I understand marketing to a younger, hipper crowd, but I think it would be a great middle ground/middle of the road, yet top of the line vehicle for just about anyone.

This car is great fun to drive, and for the money, it is a great bargain. It needs a few more features to make it a truly great car - such as: a driver right side arm rest, an indoor light in the front of the car, and lighted mirrors on the flip side of the front window visors. A tiny bit more space in the back would be fabulous. Having said all this, I am in love with this car. Oh, a tiny bit more pick-up and speed wouldn't hurt either. Hope this is helpful information.

The car is great, but dealers are shady

The car is great, and while it still lags a little on the freeway, I dont feel a "huge" difference between the acceleration with this engine and my 245hp F-150. Of course the weight has a lot to do with that. While the car is great, be careful of dealers if negotiating a lease. They will tell you they "Will throw in" certain options, and charge for them while trying to disguise it as part of the lease. If you can, find the Scion only dealerships built into certain Toyota dealerships so that you dont run into shady financers.

Great for the San Francisco Bay area. This car/truck is used in business and as a family run around. Interior large enough to pick up merchandise and deliver medium size aquariums with stands. Daughters take it most of the spare time. As a big man 280lbs 6'1" I finally fit into a small car and its great. cons: This is not a touring car and is not in the same class as Yukon or a Lincoln, extreme long trips are out. As a local business vehicle the Xb is that perfect fit bigger than a car but smaller than a minivan

After looking at the Toyota corolla, matrix, and rav 4, I decided to buy the Xb because of its impressive list of standard features, its roominess, great gas mileage, and its safety features. I could not find any other car in the Xb's price range that had standard anti-lock brakes and traction control. The Xb is lots of fun to drive and gets lots of attention everywhere I go. My 2 year old son loves the room in the back seat and I feel safe in this car.

A few months into owning the car and I still have to answer the usual questions about it (ie: Who makes this? Is it a hybrid? Why did you buy such an ugly car?...) It's a fun ride and offers lots of space for passengers. I was in a minor accident a few weeks after buying the car and was surprised at how quickly parts were available for such a new model.

I just test drove xB today and I think that it's a really good car; however, there are many things to make me love and hate it. Overall, the car is very easy to drive, good gas mileage, and like nothing else on the road. If you have small budget and don't care what other people think, then this may be your choice.

Have had the vehicle about a week now and it has been nothing but fun, fun, fun....the looks I am getting here in Dallas are surprise and interest in this fun new car. Very pleased with the great sound system and gas mileage. All of my friends are amazed at the leg room in the back seat. I have never had a very good experience buying a new car, but this one was definitely the exception. I built it on line with what I wanted and that is the price I paid with no haggling. I am definitely not a youngster anymore, just young at heart and this car makes it for me!

Just as Roy Jones Jr. had to keep moving up weight classes to find good competition only to trounce it handily, The Scion xB does the same thing. There isn't any car I'd rather own until you get to around 30 grand. The looks are just amazing and so is the passenger room. I just love this car. And the fact that it has an engine that's just itching to be modded is even better. I recently got 36MPG in my automatic on the freeway and I was nearing 380 miles on the tank. Those who can't see the genius behind this car are doomed to be blind forever. Who would ever expect stupidity to understand genius anyway?

With over 3000 miles logged it's time to say my part. In trying to figure out what I should buy as my first car I read countless reviews. At first I dismissed the Scion because it was only available in California, but once hooked on it I didn't stop until I owned one. I read every article and review I could find, and from personal experience I'd say it has come through with everything it was said to be and more. From the no pressure sales and extremely nice dealer experience to all the enjoyment I've gotten out of this extremely versatile car. I am beginning to modify it and personalize it and feel that it will make an awesome cruiser.

If you want a fun ride and what to turn heads, here it is! THE SCION XB. I have own many cars but the XB is the best by far. The cool look, low price and the more then enough room for an army is what sold my wife and I. A newly married couple wanting a car that will fit our on going moving life style it was the best car for us. Fitting everything we need for mountain biking, camping or what ever life throw our way The XB has room for it. My wife and I love to drive it, it's a very smooth ride. The Big front wind shield and placment of the speedometer keeps everything in plan view. You don't even have to take your eyes from the road. But out of all of it.

I'm 57 years old, and my wife and I love our xB. We think it's so ugly it's cute, and so do all of our friends. I'm an old drag racer and have already redone the intake and the exhaust. I am building a subwolfer box that fits in the storage compartment in the back. It handles great, workmanship is great, gets great gas mileage. I am working on phantom flames on the front end. I think it is the coolest car I have owned since I bought a 65 Mustang new.

Absolutely love it. However I guess I may have busted Toyota's young culture theroy wide open as I am a 51 year old man. I have the AT version and I don't get all the fuss about nonperformance. The box is fun to drive on winding runs and although not a pocket rocket seems to get to Interstate speed adequately. Seats are more than comfortable and the rest of the standard features are great. BTW my wife loves it too!

This car is super light weight and it feels like it has mor HP than it really has. Got so many compliments from neighbors and people, that they want to sit in it or ask if they can drive it. You have so much room in it you should see for yourself. Go to your nearest Toyota/Scion dealership and test drive the wagon....and I bet you'll fall in love with this wagon

AS FAR AS THE CAR, I AM VERY HAPPY ABOUT IT. LOTS OF ROOM (ESPECIALLY THE REAR SEAT LEG ROOM). PERFORMANCE IS ADEQUATE FOR A CAR OF THIS TYPE AND SIZE. ON A TRIP TO THE GRAND CANYON FROM CALIFORNIA WE AVG. 35 MILES PER GALLON. CLIMBING SOME OF THE 6% GRADES REQUIRED TURNING OFF THE OVERDRIVE, BUT THEN YOU COULD KEEP UP WITH EVERYONE @ ABOUT 70 - 80 M.P.H.. AROUND TOWN MILEAGE USUALLY RUNS AROUND 25 M.P.G.

I cannot begin to tell you how shocking it is to sit in this little car, you have more space inside than most SUVs on the market... and the car gets 30 mpg! The 1.5L motor has plenty of power (I have an automatic) and can easily pass cars on the freeway if you want. There is probably more rear seat room in this car than any other car on the market. You heard me... ANY other car. It is also super easy to get in and out of the seat hieght is just right. The car is built to the highest quality standard I have ever seen. Pure 100% Toyota quality through and through ... not sure why they call it a Scion, Toyota name would have been better.
