Rides great, gets 30 miles to the
gallon in the city and 34 on the
highway. Room inside is great, I have a
son 6'2" that can sit in the back seat
with the front seat moved all the way
back. It's not a speed demon but has
enough get up to reach highway speeds
by the end of the onramp.
The other reviews say it all. Decent
performance, good handling, huge
interior. Only quibbles are lack of
cruise control and no door stops...
when you park on a hill, you have to
hold the door to keep it from closing
on your legs. Every other car in the
world has a point in the arc of the
door where it stops to prevent this
from happening. Perhaps not so
important in Kansas, but very
irritating in San Francisco.
Only have 800 miles so far, but its by
far the most fun car Ive ever driven.
This car is a cruiser so speed isn't its
strong point, but the standard options
and suprisingly effective factory sound
system more than make up for a lack of
horsepower. A must own for first time
new car buyers and the young at heart.
Ultra Premium Factory Multi-Media
upgrade as option.
Lower cruising RPM in future models.
I went from a 2001 Honda Civic to the
xB. Even though the Scion has less
horsepower than the Civic, there is no
noticable power difference. I Scion
drives better than the Civic ever did.
I love that I got a roomy car for a
very reasonable price- and it turns
out that I am expecting in November
(Plenty of baby room!!). One thing that
is for certain- the xB will get you
attention- good or bad. (I am the
first person in my West Tennessee area
to be driving a Scion.) Overall- I
love my Scion!!
Passanger room and the option to add on
the extra accessories.
