I purchased my 2006 VUE after taking my time looking over and test driving its major competitors. I bought the 250hp,front wheel drive V6. It can really smoke and handles well. Also,I can flat-tow it behind my motorhome. Design problems mentioned in the original 2002 reviews were corrected as noted in the 2004 update review. Interior changes were also made for 2006. The front seats are sized for the average adult and are fine for me (6'2" and 200 lbs). However they could be a problem for the obese.

Believe it or not, the new Saturn Vue is pretty awesome with an honda engine and practical design. the suspensions are pretty sturdy and the steering is incredibly smooth. This is one low profile suv which is among the best out there.

This is my second VUE, the prior an orange '02 that had <62K and was still going strong. As my fourth Saturn I am a firm believer in Saturn's drive for quality in their products. My new VUE is by far and away the sharpest best designed and appointed vehicle yet. From the heated leather power seats, exterior and interior chrome and wood appointments and attention to detail, craftsmanship is state-of-the-art. Ride is as perfect and my prior VUE, while the Honda engine provides more power at lower RPM on the highways giving much better than average fuel economy. The V6, AWD and side curtain air bags provide me with a feeling of security and safety no matter what the road conditions. It's great.
They finally got it right!

After driving a 2001 Ford Ranger with what seemed to be no shock absorbers causing rattled teeth and an aching back for five years, I finally had to switch to a more comfortable ride. This Saturn is the best! I tried a lot of SUV's and cars but in the end I could not go back to seating low to the road like in a car. Amonst the SUV's in this size and price range, nothing else stood out like the Saturn. Perfect size, great interior, Honda motor (reliability!), and dent resistant polymer side panels all added up to a great car.

This SUV is so fun to drive. It has great pick up and handles great at highway speeds as well as city driving. After buying a Saturn I doubt I will want to buy anything else.
