At 45K miles we have a Vue which is unsafe to drive. We spent over 26K and expected a worthwhile, safe, economical vehicle. After taking the car into the 2 separate Saturn dealerships for engine noise, hesitation, poor mpg, etc.. while under warranty nothing could be found. Now, we are told the brake caliper is shot as well as the torque converter- over $2000 in repairs and Saturn wants us to foot the bill for at least parts. We are battling it out with the Saturn Corporate- they are not so customer friendly when you have problems with your vehicle. Right now, we are just glad the brakes did not complelety fail with our 2 year old in the car! We should have spent a few more dollars on an X5.

'05 V-6 VUE is Great Little SUV

I've owned my '05 V-6 VUE for about one month. I traded in a Trailblazer for the VUE and it is my first Saturn. I'm especially impressed by the peppy engine and the manueverability of the VUE. It steers and parks like a car but offers the utility of an SUV. Ingress/egress for elderly or physically impaired people is far easier that a car or a large SUV. The price for the VUE was $1,000 less than most similarly equipped (although larger) SUV's, such as the Nissan Murano.

Good But Not Great!

The price is what sold it, along with the good fuel economy for an AWD and the safety rating. The interior is a bit skimpy. Not very many compartments for stuff. Also the drink holders in the front are not very convenient. You have to nearly bend over to the side to get to your drink and you have to look at it which can't be very safe. It wouldn't take much to make this a great car.

Great vehicle for running errands close to home and for long trips. Very fun to drive! I have owned several Saturns prior and this seems to be comparable in quality to the others. The Honda 250 hp engine is fantastic with plenty of pickup for passing and hauling. Overall, very good to excellent buy for the price!

I first drove a Saturn Vue rental in 2007 when I went on an unexpected road trip. I was impressed with the comfort and performance. My daughter and I felt safe and the vehicle handled so well. In addition, it is so easy to get in and out of the vehicle without having to struggle.
